Best nightclub simulator out there!

Oh and yeah, there's the rest of the game too, which is pretty great I guess.

A great entry point into the series for beginners, but also a nostalgic trip through the series for veterans - Yakuza: Like a Dragon provides a fresh take on the series with combat that feels like a mixture of Dragon Quest and Persona with the chaos you'd expect from a Yakuza game, a huge plethora of sidestories and world content that makes the game world feel really lived in, and the narrative has a fresh, yet familiar feeling to it with protagonist Ichiban Kasuga being more of a charismatic leader, than Kazuma Kiryu's more stoic nature, with the differences represented through every aspect of the game.

The gear and upgrade system is in-depth and paced, though to complete the game's post-story endgame content you will need to max out everything you can, as the encounters are more than willing to leave you on your ass again and again.

Overall, yeah, just get it for the Karaoke tbh, if you need any other reason to play this game. Maybe get the middle tier version of the game too, as some of the DLC isn't as worth it.

Haven't even got through the first act yet but already it's pretty awesome! Deep combat, interesting characters, the potential to run custom campaigns D&D style, honestly looking forward to seeing what they do with Baldur's Gate 3!

Early Access Review
Really promising, fairly polished alpha that shows a lot of potential in terms of what the full game will be. The level of challenge feels just right, mix of 2v2 and 1v1 battles keeps things varied and fresh, monster designs and general art style is quite nice too. It honestly feels like the Pokémon MMO that fans have been waiting some time for now, especially in terms of how this game handles online matchmaking and trading in a lobby-esque system vs. Sword & Shield's weird Y-Comm/stamp system that barely works half the time. If they allow for cross-play when the full release with console ports come out and add a few more features to improve the variety of gameplay interactions, they could really be onto a winner here.

Only thing I will say however is that they're currently running the game off what feels like a pretty small server, so be ready to queue for a while during peak times. Also be prepared to disconnect a lot right now, and probably be prepared for any character data you accrue during these stages to eventually be wiped closer towards full release (this is an actual Alpha after all).

Also, there's no EXP share for your party so be ready to grind each of your caught Temtems to get them all up to appropriate level.

That said though, at least this game's got actual attack and movement animations.

There are many activities in this game that you can do, but they all serve as mere filler to the main gameplay mechanic/true means of progression: invading unsuspecting women's (or men's, if that tickles your fancy) bedrooms in the middle of the night and coerce them into having sex with you.

10/10

A Parodius-style sh'mup by Swiss people with an amusing Kansai-ben inspired title.

It's pretty fun and a bit peculiar, easily replayable; and at £1.59 you can't really go wrong can you?

In this game, you play as David Cameron and shag sheep, of which may or may not be related to one another.

23/10 will play again
