Secondly, I want to point out the developers' complete lack of professionalism. They express only their own opinions and completely ignore the players' concerns. Their relentless desire to make money is simply frightening. They don't explain changes to the game, don't pay due attention to the community, and completely ignore players' concerns.

I'm particularly irritated by their corporate approach, where players are never right. They don't even try to establish close relationships with players or improve communication. Regimental battles are not developed here; there is no proper incentive system or person responsible for managing the regiments. All events exist only on paper, and no concrete results or changes are achieved.


By 2018-2019, the project had finally faded. With the advent of World War II and the Navy, the game lost interest and popularity among players. They simply offered nothing new and showed no desire to develop. Instead, they continue to bombard us with new vehicles and maps, but this doesn't solve the game's fundamental problems.War Thunder has become a stagnant swamp, where each patch adds only more vehicles and maps, without any major changes. The game continues to exist solely for profit, forgetting its core.

Copying solutions from other games, like battle passes, is merely a marginal attempt to retain players. Leveling has become trivial and uninteresting. War Thunder has nothing but the core gameplay and monetization. There are no developed squadrons, no decent esports with large tournaments, and no large-scale modes like Global War.

If you were drawn to War Thunder by its beautiful graphics and various techniques, know that there's nothing else to it. Only randomness and monotonous leveling await you. You'll keep playing War Thunder until you get bored.
