In development but definitely already worth it, looking forward to future content.

Even with all the people raging on servers and the patches all seems fine for me in the EU, there's some bugs sometimes but nothing that's worth mentioning for an early access game and definitely not for a game that's free to play.

Some design decisions that I find weird but overall I like the game and I keep playing it.

Having enjoyed this game for a while this Steam release version brings much to the game that makes it properly enjoyable.
If you feel like you'd rather have some more than this then you can wait for a later Alpha but I have full faith in all promised features coming in and making this game even greater than it already is.
At that point it's a must-buy for any fan of the genre.

Currently it's still a great buy, defininitely for this price.

I think this is a great strategy game.
I have been playing a lot of more standard RTS games like age of empires style games and lately Civilization V since it was released but I really like this more because it really gives that amazing feel when you can:
1. play your own country and try to conquer the whole (real) world instead of some random map. And the netherlands aren't in that much strategy games so that's already an extra point from me :P.
2. Try and kick history's ass by reviving the Roman Empire with Byzantium or colonizing America with the Bretons.
3. Use some awesome mod's creating great content that really expands the game (paradox could learn from some really)
4. Do all of the above with friends increases the fun factor bigtime.

There are some bugs and lot's of room for more content but I think that the amount of content available is enough to keep everybody happy while paradox takes it's time for dlc and patches.
