This is awesome.

If you find yourself agreeing with the negative reviews of this game then you're not after what this game has to offer. If you understand what the negative reviews are saying and it resonates go elsewhere.
If you like a spatial awareness continuous shooting violent run'n'gun blasting with a run-lock button, you'd be hard pressed to find a more relentless alternative.
Gunstar Heroes fans will appreciate the experience for the price.

In reponse to Auburok 's review below - if you think you're dissapointed because you've been waiting since 2012 for this game, try waiting since 2009! I've been tracking it since way back then and was so excited when it came up on Greenlight.
This game actually started out as a Java Nokia mobile game:

and both of these versions looked far more exciting than what we've ended up with here in C-Wars.
It looked so promising then ended up not finished and disapointing. Boo.

Well obviously if you liked Green Beret(Rush N Attack on your NES) or Gryzor(Contra) you'd probably like this unless your a precious Contra fanboy and nothing can compare...
It reminded me of Saigon Combat Unit. Which I liked. So I liked this.

This is the best (scrolling) shooter I've played in years. If you liked Panzer Dragoon Orta, R-Type Final or Gradius V, then get this.
This is not, and I believe not designed to be, a bullet hell shooter. Just because there's lots of bullets, doesn't make it a bullet hell. Thunderforce 4 was not a bullet hell shooter and see all the bullets in that!
If you see negative reviews here on Steam saying this is a failed bullet hell type shooter, please do yourself a favour and ignore those ignoramuses as they clearly dont know what they're talking about.
