I highly recommend this first person game to people who are good at deductive reasoning, are good with a mystery in the form of an interactive novel or walking sim, and can recognize subtleties in stories that don't handhold the player. People who are really disappointed with the story or the ending(s) tend to be people who don't understand the player's character.

Here is what else you need to know about this game:
+Very smooth frames & visuals as well as stable on my RTX 3080 at 1440p.
+Solid voice acting and character movement/capture, the former of which is more important since your character will be talking mostly with a police partner by radio of sorts.
+Aside from ample walking, most gameplay consists of finding clues, reconstructing events, or piecing together information based on available evidence. This was all satisfying to me, and there wasn't so much of it that it became cumbersome.
?Decent world building, but not super elaborate like most Bethesda games.
+Exploring a world where people could live in different bodies was intriguing to me.
-After a playthrough, you cannot revisit any chapters or scenes. The game must be replayed again to re-experience anything but the credits. I personally just watched the other endings on YouTube.
?The ending relies on who you choose as your main suspect in the mid game, and key action(s) taken in the final location.
-The game took me less than 6 hours to get to an ending. This is a bit short for the game's sale price, but the length fit the main two characters' stories, such that no stone was left unturned with them.

This is a unique idle game because it is also a deck builder and eventually builds up to a one way combat element against one boss. I recommend this for people who appreciate idle games, sound intrigued by this, and don't expect more than a dozen hours of active or monitoring gameplay (like I did). I suppose it could've had more bosses and potentially more tech tree elements, but that likely would've gotten repetitive within a few hours - So I think the devs took the concept, as developed, as far as it should go.

A great coin pusher game with rougelite framework that pushes the coin pushing format nearly as far as it can go. The only thing I can think of that should be added to some machines is having a plinko-type coin vertical drop with bonus opportunities as opposed to just simple coin shooters.

I only recommend this to gamers who want a challenge for the sake of it, as the story isn't intriguing enough to make it worth the relatively brain-dead simple gather & go core gameplay loop. So I can't give this game an overall thumbs up. I would recommend any 11bitstudios survival game over this, especially This War of Mine. This game is more like This Arctic Struggle of Mine.

From playing through a few in game weeks, this is clearly a polished elaborate game tycoon game without trial & error on what combinations of stories work and what doesn't - Will definitely buy on sale.

Neat rougelite demo with many dice variations and blatant synergy rewards. Definitely have the full game on my wishlist, and will buy if the base game is cheap.

This is the most fun I've had with a solitaire battler since Solitairica. I appreciate the auto battle style, which simplifies just playing solitaire and put the decisions making more into what items to purchase. The item drops got kinda stale for me in the mid game, but at least the same item types can be upgraded, and then some new ones are introduced in the late game.

The Complex is my favorite interactive movie from Wales Interactive thanks to the solid acting, the relationship status system, and an ability to quickly skip previously watched scenes.
What is different about this game is that the branches are tighter, some scenes are more dependent on relationship status, and
Here is what you need to know:
+The number of major characters is fewer, in that most interactions & the most meaningful are between 3 characters, but the writing and acting really fleshes them out as people.
+FMV quality is very good, with the only minor weakness being infrequent CGI objects like one drone and certain security doors.
+The sci-fi kinda thriller story & writing works well, doesn't rely on cheap tricks like sci-fi tropes or nudity except for a brief scene where two characters dress down to underwear to put on bio hazard type suits.
?As opposed to having choices early on in the story that result in a very different two main branches of most of the story (like in Late Shift or Blood Shore), the most meaningful choices that are tied to more scenes and endings are closer to the end.
?Choices are much more likely to influence relationships or reveal different information to you the player as opposed to having a permanent or lasting impact.
-The extra info you learn doesn't ever seem to affect your character's future actions or dialog options.
+Relationships matter when it comes to ability to perform certain actions.
+After the first playthrough, you are able to press Tab key to skip any previously played scene. This is reliable, though be careful not to hit Tab twice or it will select an option based on your mouse cursors position, and note that there are scene variations for making the same choice but having a different relationship status.
+This and the story motivated me to playthrough about half the endings, and this enabled me to watch most scenes.
?A first playthrough is about 1.5 hours, and other ones will get progressively shorter if you skip most or all repeated scenes.

I recommend this on deep sale or bundle for a 2-3 hour mystery centered on video interviews that you watch, and then you make some choices that influence the interrogator. Some influence what you actually learn from suspects, and some are just progress gates based on understanding evidence & interviews.
I got only half of the six fact checks correct, but they make it optional & easy afterwards to identify which ones were wrong. With those, it was still reasonably intriguing and difficult to figure out who did it, which I saw as the game's strength...or a show of my stupidity?
Acting could be better by the oldest guy, and the cop buddy's voice acting on calls was sub par, but everyone else was alright.
I appreciate the settings options to skip any video or audio segment, and also an assist when asked to identify evidence that contradicts the most recent interview. This makes it much easy to go back and make choices that reveal more info. There are also clear achievements when you factually get something correct.

Got baptized by John, spent 40 days in wilderness, performed my first miracle, still can't talk to God - Literally unprayable.
10/10 - Would Jesus again
