Will update when they fix it but I freeze for 2-4 seconds at a time and my hardware is certainly not the problem.

This feels unfinished, cut to pieces, and sold out. I had to install 3rd party software just to fix the crazy high and washed out gamma values. The facial animations and terribly dry start made me just want my 70$ back and to wait for some updates, mods, and a sale to actually get my money's worth.

It hurts saying this but, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I'm on a brand new PC, 3070 max P 8g vram, i7-11800H, 32g ram, solid state, whole 9 yards. I cannot play the game it runs so poorly. It's a stuttering, clunky mess and gives me a headache to play for more than one battle. I love *love* ***LOVE*** total war warhammer 2, please go play it instead of this steaming pile. They have done some great things in this one, namely drastic improvements to co-op campaigns IMO. But you probably won't be able to enjoy it.

Again, unless you are running this game on a government supercomputer or are located in a secret Nvidia GPU testing facility don't even think about wasting your money on this game.


EDIT: game performance is still worse than TWWHII, which is disappointing at best. However, its much more playable now. Now you can have a decent FPS while you watch half the factions fail to function correctly and get their bugs ignored every patch while the content flow has slowed to a trickle. I am finally at a point where I will not buy this games content anymore.

This game plays like the PC dragon quest game that I never had. I grew up on ps2 rpgs and this one simply kicks butt.
