Nah, not really, it's a pretty mediocre third person shooter if you don't include the glaive mechanics which were pretty neat. It has some problems like weird instakill moves, like the shielded enemies sometime just straight up killed me, a superhuman man with half my body becoming pure metal, with a stick.
The upgrades seemed pretty lackluster, you clearly don't need them to beat the game but they help, most of them you probably won't ever use and there's also the problem that once you put an upgrade in the weapon, you cannot remove it nor replace it with another one, which is very...WEIRD, feels like this feature was rushed.
Gunplay was pretty mediocre with any semblance of movement screwing up with accuracy, even the movement of your mouse made the accuracy take a hit, so much for a professional killer, Hayden.
Powers were alright, they help out in a pinch and they do a pretty serviceable job at it.
Overall I think I enjoyed it despite this game's many problems with weird cover controls and gunplay and it made me appreciate Warframe more, seeing all these early designs & concepts for everything like they were back before the fully realised Warframe was even a glint in Steve's eye.
Looking forward to reimagining of what potentially can be Dark Sector in Warframe's future "1999" update.


Also Hayden should be shouting "Warframing Time" every finisher.

I literally don't have it and haven't played it, why can I review this.

After the many hours I put in this game, playing it for the coop, having a great time, meeting good friends, it seems Bandai Namco doesn't like that so they put a stealthy IP blocker preventing me from play online ever again (This is a an overly nonsensical exageration completely made up, it's a joke, please do not actually take it seriously.)


The real issue, been playing for years, until an update bugged SPECIFICALLY the countdown timer of online missions. Here's more details about it and the workaround that I used thanks to Ms.3Box and Demon Lord being good people.

Unfortunately, after maybe 1 or 2 years, another update came in either XV2 or Steam servers or whatever that has made it imposible to play even with the workaround, now if you open the game through the workaround Steam version...it crashes at the main menu, always.
So what did I learn? That Im apparently not allowed to play a videogame online just...because.


If you SOMEHOW in the year of our lord Tori-Bot 2022 (soon 2023) use Windows 7, heed my warning, the online might not work for you, don't buy the game unless you want to risk that chance. If you do not care about the online, there's still a lot of single player content to do which makes up for it, but once you finish all of that, well...I don't know what you'll do, probably mod or probably move on to another game. Your choices.

The amount of grinding in this game is equal to the amount of grinding I want to do on Female Frames' asses.

It's getting better, slowly.

It needs to load TWICE for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu.
Doesn't find any server even with Hamachi.
What a piece of ♥♥♥♥. I'm not even going to try Single Player, neither should you.
