I've been playing dwarf fortress for probably about a decade, I love this game with all my heart. I am very happy with how the steam release turned out, with a beautiful tileset and overhauled UI (as well as countless desperately needed QOL features) this release is all I was hoping for and more. I haven't been able to put it down since release and it'll probably be a while before my friends and family see me once more.

Good game, very cute and nice. Wonderful atmosphere, get it.

god i hate this game

haven't played too much of it yet, but the little i've played is fun. It's definitely janky but as an avid 40k fan theres been a drought of good 40k FPS games for a while so I can live with the jank, at least until Dark Tide comes out. The game world is full of little lore tidbits and interesting scenery. I personally love that a lot of posters in game are from the regimental standard news paper, its a nice touch. 7/10

This game is an absolutely incredible experience, it has everything that a Half-Life game does. You should absolutely get this if you have a VR set or are looking for a reason to get VR. In my eyes this was worth the 13 year wait. 10/10 would feed snark again

Absolutely amazing, this game allows you to build the vehicle of your dreams. Anything from a tiny rc car to the biggest bomber. You can make your dreams come true in this great game. If you have 17.99 and don't know what to spend it on, get this game. UPDATE 11/21/2018: It has been over a year since I wrote this review and it is still just as good if not better than I said it was, I seriously hope you consider buying Homebrew and supporting the devs. The devs are very active in the community and genuinely care about their players.
