The flashlight is very wonky and Slendy isn't scary, he is annoying. Also he teleports way to much, so much in fact that it stops me whenever he teleports behind me and it produces a lot of lag. He even throws you like a pupet behind you with no eforts. The game has potential but right now this is not really worth buying but who knows, maybe the game will be better but I dont think that day is near.

This game is good but the story is kinda garbage. Recomend playing mods on this game, you will laugh your ass off. Believe me here.

Very cool competitive game!

The story has the same feeling like Super Mario but the gameplay is amazing. It is balanced between Possible and Impossible. Would recomend it if you can handle the anger inside you. 8/10

There's so many things you can do in the forest it's so addicting. The story is a bit boring but the gameplay holds it up good. Let's hope that The Forest 2 is more exiting story.

Why do people hate it?

The lore of the game is a interesting one but the gameplay gets boring after you play the game a second time. But speedruning it makes it fun and frustrating. I personally recomend the game if you are having a party with your friends and they want to play something horror. 8/10
