Amazing value for dollar.

Seeing a lot of bad review about crashing but I have a gtx1660 and have experienced only 1 or 2 crashes. (they probably have crap PC's or just too much porn on their 256gb hdd boot)

This game is already in it's first two weeks been better than the last three Call Of Duty games, and cost me only half of the price.

There's still lots of room for them to add new features and missions too, looking forward to future updates.

Game was fine enough with regular content updates. I quite enjoyed it at some points.

The integration with the Epic Games Launcher is a nuissance and forcing me to sign in to a game I had already been signed into and played on is on prior experience is awful and I want my money back.

Amazing. Game.

An amazing way to pass the time, Planetary Annihilation is a worthwhile title to pick up, on sale or not. Construct bases with defenses, mass armies and build defences to keep others at bay. This game is one that you will not regret. Great for both singleplayer and multiplayer, Planetary Annihilation has a Galactic War feature which allows the player to wage many battles against AI in a single player venue.

++ Pros ++
  • Amazing game
  • Simple, yet fascinating graphics and animations to match them.
  • Three different technology paths to choose from (Air & Land & Water)
  • Orbital and interplanetary combat and travel add to the already vast combat experience.
  • A good game to play with friends and pass the time in a competition friendly environment.

-- Cons --
  • The differences between Air & Land & Water are menial if you don't bother massing armies and build armageddon weapons first thing
  • Time passes very quickly when playing this game. The game can become repetitive as well as on the edge of straight up frustrating when one of your friends is leaps and bounds ahead of you.
  • The DLC/Expansion is very expensive, and after enough playtime passes the tech will become boring.

Definitely worth the buy at current price, and even more worth when on sale. This game will prove worth the money you spend on it and will provide hours of singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay.

This expansion is great. I've played a lot of Galactic Warfare in the original version as well as many multiplayer matches, and the content from this expansion pack add units that are capable of ending longstanding stalemates. As seen in the trailer, the point of this expansion grants the user to create massive units with incredible abilities each unique to a different situation.

For a pretty penny, this is a version of Planetary Annihilation that includes:

  • Three land based Titans (attacks land & air & water)
  • One Orbital Titan (attacks all)
  • One air based Titan (attacks land & air & water)
  • Misc. troops including an air unit that produces solar energy.
  • Adds to Orbital Tech

So basically, WHAT YOU'RE MISSING IF YOU BUY PLAIN PLANETARY ANNIHILATION
Spoilers

  • 2/3 of the land titans available to construct are slow, yet powerful. They can change the tide of any battle however are slower than molasses.
  • The third land titan available is a doomsday device that is buildable on any planet and upon completion will pulverize the planet it sits on.
  • The air titan is the same as the land titans, however faster but deals less damage.
  • The orbital titan that's available attacks all units, and can be linked to a teleporter and serves to instantly teleport to the surface of any planet.
  • The misc. units that have been added to the game include a sub commander that can build advanced structures at a faster speed.
  • Many combat units have been added in all fields (air & land & water & orbital), too many to be specific.

Definitely worth the buy, or the wait for it to go on sale. I've enjoyed the time I've spent so far on it (one complete Galactic War) and look forward to the hours to come.

Early Access Review
This game, is amazing. Still in the Early Access stage however showing much promise, Astroneer is a title you definitely want to pick up and give a try. The simple graphics and interesting landscaping provide a great environment to play around and explore. Note the game is still early in development, however it already compares to other titles in it's genre. You can eplore other planets and build interesting and intricate bases with different power solutions based on the environment. As of yet, the game is a little vanilla with the lack of any form of mobs/animals in game with the minor exeption of some pesky plants.

Key Notes
  • The game isn't complete yet, so not much content in game quite yet.
  • The vehicles and their features are great and are great aspects of gameplay, however somewhat buggy.
  • Advertised as multiplayer, however the multiplayer experience is buggy and not quite ready to be used.
  • The game is a little pricy right now, but is definitely worth the buy as there is much to come in the future.

Due Note: At it's current stage I, myself only got 10 hours of gameplay from it before achieving all tech and items in game.

Really really fun game, with beautiful artwork and graphics

Apotheon brings a refreshing sort of look to the many sidescroller games in the steam store. A fun game, still not fully
optimized so some FPS lag may happen, but animations are quite smooth, weapon diversity from melee to ranged the epic quest your character embarks on is definitely one to enjoy.

Played only an hour or so of this game. If I wanted something this on rails,

I would go buy instead Euro Train Simulator on the Google App Store for a much cheaper cost.

1/10 would buy, and that 1 out of 10 bought this by mistake during an Xmas Sale.
