As a big fan of U-boat games (silent hunter 5 and Uboat), this game hit right at home. I played as the captain of my 4 man crew of dumb fumbling loons and we had a blast of a time.

The atmosphere! Hear the noises of people talking from afar echoing in the hull, the engines increasing revs, the control room filled with information being passed around...the sound design is perfect. Couple this with the lighting, switching to red and moving around with your flashlight...its almost scary inside the tube. But after the battle is over, you surface and open the hatch to the most calming of seas, waves crashing against the hull and the wind breeze in your ears.

The interactive play! Having to navigate, spot, maintain the engines, measuring hostiles, controlling depth and course, having ears on sonar and laughing your face off at the same time?! Every role feels overwhelmed yet critical to the success of the sub and that feeling of a job well done (even when you cant see the blast), you feel the crew smile with joy.

This game is exactly what you pay for! Easy 10/10 no complaints...well

This game is still early access and its current state is enjoyable but lacks re-playablity. My crew and I went on 8 "patrols" and sunk over 86200 tons! Yet now we feel, empty? The map is empty, the seas are empty so it feels like the game is empty once you sink the enemy. I cannot wait for the career mode since it will make this game feel bigger than just a demo.

Also please let us put in custom songs!

Abandon-ware! Such potential and yet nothing

The seas are rolling and the winds are changing! I have never seen such beauty. These old sailor eyes had almost forgotten the sea after the battles in the sands. Nothing beats the seas. Even when all is lost and you feel the water filling your lungs, the beauty of the waves above calm a dying soul.

Seriously tho, this DLC is great! A bit on the short side for the campaign and I dislike that we cannot spawn in enemy ship in the mission maker. Another thing to note is the entire campaign can be beat with submarines (so challenge yourself by not using subs!). Even with those negatives, the water and atmosphere is perfect...like perfect! Couldn't ask for anything else! After playing this game on and off for like 8 years? This DLC is exactly what I needed!

Devs! Please let us spawn enemy ships in the mission maker and if you can...make it so we can adjust wave sizes?

Take war hammer, slap in a bit of halo alien racism and John Conner mentality against starwars bots...you get hell divers!

Sit down me lad, for I have a tale! Countless hours...nay!...days at sea, hunting for fish. This game be a terror to any man who knows his value. Dare he look away from his true calling! Dare he deny his fate of being hunted and haunted! This is no fun nor adventure (character break! This game is a blast), for this is the dredge!

This sailor traveled for 14 days and 14 ights look for every fish to be found. Was it asy? NAY! For the ocean had urn against him they say! He couldn't trust a thing he saw for everything he looked at started to look back at him. He lost his mind...but found his soul. At the end he had capture every last one of our ocean faring cousins yet all he could think for was to head back out and do it again!

IF YOU LIKE PAIN PLAY THIS

Honestly, I don't see why this game is being shat on by the general gaming community. Sure it isn't perfect but in the 2 days that I got to play it, I've had many memorable battlefield only moments and plenty of good laughs with my boys.

Lets start with the bad.
- Many gameplay bugs (Reload sign not going away, dead bodies still standing and looking alive, etc)
Tbh, every battlefield has had issues at launch so this was like a "here we go again" moment for me
- ♥♥♥♥ servers
Really annoying to deal with but never had this issue with Solo/Co-op
- Not many weapons
Only what? 22? It's easily a weeks worth of grinding for me and my life style so yeah its lacking but adding
news weapons shouldn't be that hard
- Hard to run on older tech
I was fine with my GTX 970 and R3600 but I noticed that my friends who had worse CPUs had major issues
with FPS and overall playability.
- Over powered and under powered weapons
2 Overpowered guns that are a pain to play against and like 2 that are useless but every game has balance
issues which can be fixed with simple number change by the devs

Good things!
- Many Battlefield only moments which was nice to see and feel after lacking it in BFV.
Things like cars doing stupid ♥♥♥♥, running around a corner to find a tank barrel in your face...the good stuff
- Enjoyed the new "Plus" config system for guns
- Loved the overall look of the game (even at low it beats games like ARMA, BF4, Squad)
- Wonderful maps (Personal fav is Breakaway)
- Great gun play and feel! (Better than BF4 but less than Rainbow Six)
- Vehicles feel great overall (I didn't enjoy the attack helicopters)
- Vehicles also have more focus on team play (VTOL, Tank have space for full squad to work together)
- Having both 128 and 64 player games is a great addition to BF with both having pros and cons
- Working with friends feels amazing with how versatile the class system is (I miss the old style but having the options to swap kits with any gun type frees up options, ex. LMG with med bag or Sniper with Ammo)
- Specialists don't feel the best but I do like their gadgets so i'll put it in the good list

All in all, I feel like this is not a 80$ or even 50$ game but I would highly recommend it if it falls below 40$. The overall feel of a battlefield game seems to hit back to the good old days of when BF4 came out and I cannot wait to see where EA takes this game.

Overall great game with some beautiful combat with many levels of planning and thinking needed to become the victor. I will say it is a tad on the shorter end of total play time (<100 hours) since gameplay evolves down to the same missions over and over with things like aircraft being annoying to deal with since you end up having to spend 5 mins of your life just waiting for the mission end.

Almost 1000 hours of time spent on this beautiful game and I still have much to do. If you love spending hours on hours on one creation then this is the game for you. If you like games like ; From the Depths, Simple Planes or Besiege, you will probably like this game even more. Great Multi-player, Insane levels of creativity and new updates almost every month with a great community pumping out new weapons/systems/gadgets each week.

Truly a great game

After the full release, I now have over 2000 hours in the beautiful game and besides the MANY bugs and issues, I can't stop playing it. The community are always finding new ways to do things and new ways to push our creations to be better.

I've reached 3000 hours and this game still shows me things I haven't seen before! I'm also impressed on how there is a huge lack of anime but that's not important. The point is that this game is worth ever dollar you spend for it IF you love taking your time and building. This game is a challenge, a challenge to build better each time and if you aren't up for the challenge, this game is not for you.

4000 hours is just a few minutes away and this game still keeps giving. Yet lately the multiplayer has really been a toll on how much fun I can get out of it. The weapons DLC added a lot but the bugs just keep getting worse. At this point I can't say I completely recommend the game but if you are into build in singleplayer, this game is still an amazing pick.

+5100 hours in and the game still has so much but I cannot deal with the issues. Multiplayer is still broken! They add a huge weapons DLC but whats the point if you can't even have 2 tanks fight equally without one having the host advantage?! I want to love this game but I cannot deal with it anymore. If you like singleplayer gameplay this game still packs hours of fun but we've come to the point as a community where everything has been made, every glitch and bug has been found and exploited. The game feels empty now with nothing more to do.

+6000 hours. I regret buying this game. The bugs are endless and nothing works

I still recommend this game but I cannot promise that you will have the best of times.

+7000 hours. I have no friends, life is darkness. Everything I have made in stormworks, over the past 291 full days, is broken. This game is like a dream...it is wonderful in thought but once you try to make it reality...it fails you. Do not buy this game.
