This demo initially caught my eye from its gorgeous artstyle, and won me over through gameplay which I can only really describe as a bit of a mix of the management aspects of Fallout Shelter and the cozy feel of Wanderstop.

Definitely looking forward to seeing how this develops over time - this is one of the most promising demos I've seen in a while.

Full disclosure: I was part of the first wave of post-demo beta testing for this game prior to release, and received a full copy of the game as thanks for my contributions.

Overall, I feel that this game, so far, is an excellent starting point, with a lot of room for improvement. The majority, albeit not all, of the issues I reported initially have been fixed in the time since the end of my beta test period, and there's a good 70-80 hours of gameplay per playthrough if you see it to the end. For 20 bucks, I'd say I'd have gotten my money's worth out of it if I were to have bought my own copy - so I can only say that, based on my playthrough, I recommend this game.

Overall, a fun experience, massively heightened by the modding community. Although there are still some issues with the base game (such as how certain aspects of the game are calculated causing performance issues late-game in maps with over 1000 systems), the game consistently has many of the outstanding issues fixed both by the community via mods and by Paradox themselves in free updates.
