Has been much better since the EAC update. Loads of new features and QoL improvements. Public lobbies are more fun to hang out in without the client users.

Almost everyone playing online is cheating so don't bother buying or reinstalling this for the multiplayer content, 2 times out of 3 you'll randomly explode before completing a mission or a 12 year old with a mod menu will give you every item in the game

This is basically Dwarf Fortress but with graphics and disappointingly terrible AI that makes the game extremely frustrating to play at times. For example, your entire village is likely to starve to death because of a single loner stocking a year's worth of harvest in their house. Villagers don't seem to have intelligent job priorities either, which can also lead to more annoyance. The standard speed of the game also starts to feel slow and uneventful after 10 minutes so you'll find yourself turning it up to 5x speed just to stay somewhat busy. Unless the AI is improved and more content is added so that you can comfortably play the game at a normal speed, I do not reccomend buying this game.

While fun to play, E.Y.E has an engaging yet mind-blowing and surreal plotline, it also gives off a good cyberpunkish-40k feel. It's not the best game from a pure FPS standpoint but it certainly makes up for that with multiple other combat mechanics, the english translation isn't perfect either but that's easy to look past. I loved the atmosphere of this game and it's definitely worth buying!
