A "Lethal Company clone" that I find better than Lethal Company itself. The reasons I find it to be superior are because, 1) there's more varied counterplay to the tons of unique enemies imo + the ability to hide, and 2) the ability to buy stat upgrades; dying doesn't feel as bad as simply getting poor RNG. There are currently only 3 different maps (which get more intricate tiles the further you progress), and I would love to see more. Here's to hoping the game continues to get updated content for variability and isn't just another fad game that dies after 6 months or less.

Very cute game that takes a lot of inspiration from Hyper Light Drifter in the most appreciated ways. I love that each area has its own personality and "gimmick" to it, similar to a Zelda dungeon. Keep up the great work! Highly recommend!

Imagine if you had a Persona game that was also mixed with Zelda in terms of life sim x puzzles, dungeons, and combat. My only concerns are that combat is a little clunky, and that the bindings for the CONTROLLER THAT IS RECOMMENDED over mouse&keyboard, cannot be changed. Mouse&keyboard keybinds can be changed, however? I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of accessibility options.

Interesting so far. I have an in-process list of critiques:
1) the proportions of the character models are an odd choice and I'm not the biggest fan
2) I wish that interactions with other characters were a bit more cinematic rather than lifeless-feeling similar to an MMO
3) a binoculars-like function is desperately needed. I would love the ability to peer into the distance and throw a pin down to check out. Trying to match sights to a map blindly is a nightmare
4) some enemies are too short for melee weapons to actually hit. I have to pull out my show at close range instead

Very cute and fun! I'm usually not very big on resource management games, but the puzzle aspect of having to manage your resources and inventory wisely is intriguing to my squirrely brain. Aptly in early access, I've encountered a couple of bugs that have been easily remedied with saving and restarting the game (no progress lost), and there's a discord channel dedicated to known bugs and how to fix them. I enjoyed the demo and am enjoying the broadened content available with the release of the actual game.

Highly recommend if you're a fan of Grounded. I enjoy the presence of a story-driven quest line within a survival game, otherwise they often feel aimless to me. Abiotic Factor does a great job of avoiding that problem. For a game in early access, I'm having a great time.

SAY NO! MORE is a cute game with a great overarching message of setting healthy boundaries with others in your personal life and professional life, which is something that I find to be very important nowadays in the age of late-stage capitalism in the US. The characters have interesting personalities and I think my favorites are Noah and the personal trainer/life coach that helps you along the way. The art style is simplistic yet amicable.
My negative review heavily hinges on the repetitiveness of the gameplay and how the different ways that you can learn to say NO! don't really seem to make much of a difference in the effectiveness of rejecting people trying to take advantage of you. There are literally 10 people often times that will approach you over the course of 10 seconds and you ultimately just end up spamming the spacebar most of the time unless you find someone asking for a staring contest, etc. Sometimes I feel like I don't know what kind of NO! I should be using against a boss and no matter what I do I end up failing, and there's no sign that ultimately the encounter was designed to fail no matter what until you learn to charge your NO! more. That's the only mechanic that makes a difference. You can also build your confidence meter by antagonizing your coworkers with claps and laughs, etc., but even that seemed to have zero recognizable pattern to learn and is very frustrating. A $15.00 USD pricetag just doesn't seem justifiable for the experience I had.
Overall I would summarize my nearly 2hrs of gameplay on stream as listening to character dialogue that was sometimes funny and enjoyable, and otherwise just spamming the spacebar until a situation that seemed like it wasn't working and I didn't understand why.
If the devs read this review, I just want them to know I appreciate the message trying to be conveyed by this game and I overwhelmingly support it. I just wish there was more to the game for all the time I spent playing it just trying to not quit the game partway through because I'd had enough.
