Overall this is a solid game.

Story: The story kept me playing. Characters are a bit meh, but there's a lot of worldbuilding here: underground cities, flying cities, different dimensions, and a whole lotta history between peoples. They introduce new information at just the right interval to keep it interesting.

Gameplay: I didn't think the gameplay was *that* revolutionary. It took me a while to figure out the expected way to play (shield management). Based on the trailers I would have thought this game would be more movement-based. But you can't dodge everything, you're expected to block a majority of attacks. Which isn't bad, but I expected more flexibility. Also I must say the exploration is fun. There are easier dungeons that share a set of different themes (some are enemy-focused, some are purely parkour focused, and some are a mix), and harder dungeons with bosses more difficult than the story bosses. Plenty to do.

Graphics: It's got that "generic realism Unreal Engine stink" to it. It gets the job done. But unfortunately this game runs like ASS. I wasn't crashing as others have said, but it wasn't uncommon to drop below 20 fps (???) I hate turning on DLSS but it's required if you hope to hit 60. Luckily this never happened during battles, only in free roam. But still, what ever happened to optimization?

Very polished game that doesn't sound fun at first but quickly becomes addicting. I keep needing to uninstall this game because I play it too much.

Easy to play for a game or two, or play for the entire afternoon. I also love the community this game has; I played 5 games in a row chatting with everyone about random stuff and poking fun at each other's shots. Great fun.

If you're really interested in the story and like poking around in other people's computers, then you will love this game. There is constant music that keeps you in the mood, there are tense moments that make you say "gez that was close," and there are some hidden paths you can take that most people probably won't get on their first playthrough. Go in blind for your first playthrough and once you finish, take a look at the achievments. If you missed something, you can add hours of more fun to this game.

Warframe is about the grind. I'll get that out of the way now. That being said, Warframe has no clear goal to reach for, so do what you wish. It has no clear storyline, so you make what you want out of what is given. It also has an amazing community of players and developers. DE (Digital Extremes) has done wonders in regards to what the community wants to see. They communicate with us and constantly add new content. If you like the concept behind the game, Warframe is for you.
