I had never played Yakuza before and this game was honestly amazing, I didn't know what to expect when going in but I was really impressed with the writing and game-play. Honestly the story was so good I cried on two occasions. I plan on playing the entire series of Yakuza games just based on the quality of this one alone. The begining is slow due to the tutorially sort of plot they have going on to ease you into it but the amount of twists and turns and cool game mechanics is amazing. The side-stories are all incredibly interesting along with the mini-games like Karaoke and Disco.

Honestly Goro Majima is my most favorite video game character of all time and this game is definitely a gem with how low of a price you can get it for. Give this series a try, you won't regret it if you enjoy a game for its story

This game is incredibly amazing, I've experienced every human emotion possible while playing it. The Soundtrack is also a 10/10. The writing for all the cats is believable and invokes a lot of emotion. The art choice is also really good. Honestly if you asked me for a choice of furry dating sim I would say this is the S-tier game out of all that I have played. Please try this game out if you can.

as a stand alone game this is pretty okay but as a sequel to dark souls 2 I'm just annoyed with all the issues that came with this game that didn't exist back then. The progression in the realm of magic is kinda stagnant with how stretched out it is to get your first miracles that make any difference in the game with the first ones being 3 areas away from the begining of the game. I think the weapons are cool but DS2 did pvp much better. The hackers still existed in the peak of DS2 though which is besides the point. If you're getting into souls I'd suggest you start at DS2, play DS3 and then DS1. Kthx for coming to my tedtalk

Really fun if you're just getting into the souls series, I've played this many times on co-op with friends to clear the main game and free DLC included in scholar of the first sin. You can bring like 2-3 friends through 90% of this game. Being invaded by people is actually really fun as a mechanic too actually since you run into some funny stuff other players have made. All around one of my most favorite entries into the souls series.

This game is the best!
who wouldn't want to play this Ubisoft classic! (this game was just a cash grab proven by the lack of servers until almost 2 years in)
you can expirience an awesome community. (they just look for exploits and vortexes to insta-kill you and waste your time.)
You can enjoy new characters regularly. (there are currently only 6 new characters since launch and each are more overpowered and broken than the last.)
The season pass is the best deal ubisoft can offer. (requires, also with 314 hours i haven't bothered to unlock them all. The pass is just as much as the game itself.)
This game is one of my top most favorite games from the people who banned your ability to say mean words on rainbow six. Thank you Ubisoft!

Edit: I came back almost a year later and it's somehow even worse! the dlc is around 90$ (that's more than double the game's price!) and is almost required to play with the shady business strategy of making the newest characters more broken than the last. Also the new characters come with new game mechanics to force you to relearn old mechanics. Also the new game mode involves taking advantage of the poor camera coding overwhelm you with npcs. If you enter any menu outside of the actual game there is a 90% chance you will get an ad for their dlc. This is coming from the game that took 2 years to add dedicated servers. This game was left unupdated for around 2 years before ubisoft tried doing cpr to shake money out of the community that still plays recently and they've not fixed anything before adding more paid content and garbage free content.
