Good news everyone! Joe Musashi, the legendary shinobi is back! In a very beautiful, decently challenging (for the average player) and frenetic romp that turns the classic Shinobi formula into more of a softvania. Subsequent runs and rushing through levels however will reveal *one single* major mistake.
-Art department: 10/10 for both the soundtrack and the visuals holy CANNOLI.
The hand drawn art is very amazing, the ninjutsu now look marvelous just to look at, and character designs are also quite memorable even for the classic returning characters. The soundtrack, with the return (once again) of classic sega composer Yuzo Koshiro and Streets of Rage alumnus Tee Lopes, is also just incredible, it's practically a game that comes free with a legit af soundtrack.
-Level design: 10/10
From Musashi's ruined village to a Submarine, each area's *relatively linear* bespoke levels are... actually pretty memorable! There's even a rocket surfboard stage made for the sake of nostalgia and some hazard fights to make things a little bit more difficult.
-Core gameplay: 8/10
There's a robust combo system with moves that you unlock more and more of as you go, movement that feels crisp and good, cool magic attacks, most of which you have to search for (this gives the game a partial metroidvania vibe) AND the tag and execute mechanic straight from Shinobi PS2. So why would I knick 2 points? For one simple reason: The enemies themselves have no "boxes" per se. This isn't THAT egregious, you can still mess up if you mash like a dumbass and the game DOES still require skill, but it trivializes any subsequent run of the game. U N L E S S
SEGA AND LIZARDCUBE, Y'ALL SHOULD ADD A HARD MODE! A hard mode alone will increase replayability.
Here is the gidst of it: Not the best Shinobi (That'd be III still imo), but a solid, extremely fun- if exploitable- comeback nonethe-friggin-less. Get this if you want peak Ninja Game experience. Get this AND Ragebound both like I did if you want to not be a tribalist lmaoooo.

-Atmosfera, eis a *melhor* parte do game.

KICKSTART MY HEART HOPE IT NEVER STOPS!

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy's an extremely fun Action RPG where you play as Peter "Star-Lord" Quill alongside the titular crew, the Gardeners- pardon me, the GUARDIANS of the Galaxy: Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer and Groot. For the most part, you walk and platform about listening to their banter, enjoy the game's combat and story and listen to some old classic tunes.

Gameplay: The combat ends up being the main thing here. Quill has his basic pew pew shots, a melee combo and an overheat shot at first, later he'll awaken his elemental shots and his special attacks. The other guardians will mostly do their own thing until you point at something for them to do (Like have Rocket plant a Mine or Drax toss stuff at bad guys) or have them use one of their own special attacks. Enemies in battles will have weaknesses that you should pay attention to if you don't want this game to be a slog or have to repeat fights. There's frankly not much to say about exploration I'll admit, walk, jump, ask a buddy to do smth cool, rinse repeat. 7,5/10 overall tho imo.

Characterization: The PLATINUM part of this game, the walking sessions will be made more bearable through the team's dialogue, it's fun, they're all great. VERY WELL WRITTEN despite mostly being humorous (You WILL be caught by surprise, and you might even cry over some of them) I have to mention that everyone is a hybrid of their MCU and comic book counterpart so don't expect for example Ego to be mentioned at all but expect Thanos to be important to Drax and Gamora's stories. 10/10

Story: I won't spoil much, but it's a story that has a similar TONE to that of the film, while being something completely different, like I mentioned, it takes a lot from the old Dan Abnett comics too (Something LIKE the Annihilation Wars happened in the past, and that's important!). It starts off with the Guardians fumbling a job, owing a fine to the Nova Corps (MOST of the other players didn't pay it just like me, based) and having to face their mistakes and their pasts throughout the story, until BLAM they save the universe! 9/10

Soundtrack: If you love any and all kinds of 80s music, classic-style hair metal and epic instrumental tracks, you'll love this. You can RICK ROLL the bad guys! How does THAT make you feel?! 10/10

Art design and Giraffics: Even in medium cuz I don't wanna fry my damn Lenovo, it looks great! Design-wise the Guardians mostly look like their (solo kek) comic book selves, you can most definitely tell what you're fighting when it comes to enemies (I have had minor camera issues with stuff like bad guys sneaking up on me however, but eh not really a graphical gripe). And scenario-wise MAN I wish I took more screenshots of all the over the top stuff you get to see. 9/10

Overall? A solid 9/10 with mostly simple but fun mechanics that should definitely be on the Marvel video game hall of fame! (Up there with the MVC series, the Ultimate Alliance trilogy and the Spider-Man Open World games)

The game. is fun. The game. is stinkin' hard. Jefuty is correct, don't use the word Bakery. Bakery implies fluffy bread and relaxation, this game does not provide fluffy bread or relaxation.

Anyway IS IT GOOD? Yeh, it's kinda like Mutant Year Zero and XCOM 2 where there's a lot of stealth mixed in with SRPG combat. It's very tacticool where you get to customize everyone's weaponry, the upgrade system is very fun, and THE TITLE, REVERSE COLLAPSE, is the main crafting mechanic, in the middle of levels you can craft more gear, like grenades, medkits, tower defense equipment, etc it's pretty fun too!

Setting and plot: It takes place in the Girls' Frontline universe, in fact it's a CRANKED UP remake of MICA team's very first game, now turning it into a distant sequel of GFL, Neural Cloud and GFL2. The Command & Conquer esque thing of "the Cold War went hot, then we found a supernatural resource that kills everything but we use to power our tech" is still there too. If you like military sci-fi stories with fantastic phlebotinum involved you'll like it. Plotwise at first it seems like a save the damsel plot... oh boi it is NOT, Jefuty is arguably the most badass character in the main cast, and she's the one constantly saving Mendo, the main protagonist's, ass. Some early arrival spoilers kinda stop me from saying much more however. Good stuff tho!

Ladies and gentlemen I used to SUPPORT this game, then the new devs decided to make stupid choices
Thank you new studio for removing and changing the content that people paid for
It takes courage to yeet *at least* half your playerbase away.
People paid for Mike and Alex's content, not the changes y'all made, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kek.

Little bit of Ark little bit of Pokemon (design only lmao) little bit of SMT (how you evolve the lil bros) little bit of Fortnite. This game has something for everyone and it really makes you FEEL like you're shooting fakemons in the wild.

A great game that was unfortunately abandoned as soon as they finished the (pretty good) campaign. Massive F.

GIT GUD: Kung Fu Edition

This here's a wuxia revenge story with bits and pieces of supernatural elements, a neato comic book artstyle and VERY DIFFICULT and most VERY MANUAL gameplay. You will LEARN to dodge, block, throw weapons and use the environment to your advantage and you WILL NOT press a button to just win. It's well known already for having an age system, that multiplies every time you die. GOOD LUCK.

Recommended if you like to be rewarded if doing well but brutally punished for doing poorly.

The game. is fun. It is also stinkin' hard sometimes.
It's also a game that looks and sounds beautiful, it's worth even the full price if you love Metroidvanias.
