"Good game that the developers actually develop and care about, there's a few things that me and im guessing other people might wish for like official servers for example, but considering this game is still in early access and how far it's come from its initial release, i'd like to think this game is both in a good current state and on a good path."

^What I originally said in 2019. It's ironic following that the only things that have changed have been for the worst. Good job on making a game that's so unbearable to play "in it's current state".

I would be playing epoch if it was as popular as it used to be. Buy it if it goes on sale, have fun for like 10-20 hrs then never play again.

In my opinion it's the best Fallout game in the series and goes to show Bethesda doesn't know what they're doing. The dialogue and story fully immerses you into a setting that actually feels like a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Many memorable characters with interesting backstory that ties well with what's actually happening in the game. Gun play can be fun an interesting, and the way you can tackle encounters is whatever you make of it. The DLCs are also great, and I recommend trying all of them when you've run out of things to do in the Mojave. Wish I could go back and replay for the first time and be able to fully appreciate how good it is.

For the true F:NV experience, move out to the West in real life to a house that doesn't have properly functioning AC, then play through this game on hardcore mode on a hot summer day. You'll have to micromanage your character and yourself while you both die of dehydration. Never felt so connected to any video game character in my life. 10/10 would die of thirst while playing this game any day.
