Ever since I played through the free Prologue, I knew this game was something special. If you like turn-based games like Dungeons & Dragons or Epic Battle Fantasy, or customizable builds like in Outward or Borderlands, you'll love this. The game puts a creative spin on how environments interact with combat, resting, and general gameplay. Even with all the features not available in Beta, the game is so brilliant how it is now, I wouldn't even be upset if this was the full release. The full game looks very promising!

For Honor is a rather unique experience in Medieval Combat themed games. If you enjoy the fighting mechanics of Mount and Blade or Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you'll probably like this. It's not as complex as Kingdom Come, nor is it as basic as Mount and Blade, which puts gameplay into this interesting middleground of Reacting time, Reading your opponent, developing your fighting style with heroes, and adapting during a fight. It's fun on its own, but from my experience, it's a lot more fun if you have friends.

Dark Souls 2 gets a lot of smack-talk for being both the easiest and least interesting one out of the trilogy, but this by no means makes it a bad game. I agree it is a bit lack luster as compared to the first and third Souls games, but Dark Souls 2 is simply a great game with even better counterparts. Dark Souls 2 as a game is fun, challenging, and can hold your attention, being well worth the time you put into it. Also, if you have a challenge-apprehensive friend that you want to expose to the Souls Trilogy, go ahead and start them with this. Being the easiest of the three has its advantages.

As a kid, I would always just want a "shoot the other team" game. Something simple yet fun. There were plenty of free to play flash games like Combat 3 and Raze 2 that kept me occupied, but I didn't realize I was missing what I really wanted until I saw Ravenfield. I've been playing since the free prototype came out on GameJolt a few years ago, and it's only gotten better since. It's the perfect game to just fire up and do some casual FPSing, without having to worry about toxic players, matchmaking times, or complex game rules. Plus, with the Steam Workshop integration, the game has become more fun than ever!

It really takes the Turn-Based RPG genre and makes something really fun and new with it. It's both challenging and scary, but in the Dark Souls way, where you're more scared of things that can kill/surprise you rather than the imagery, although the visuals are beautiful. It's a lovely mix of strategy, stacking buffs, and screams of rage.

I actual combat is very fluent and most weapons provide for intuitive combo attacks, which really ties together the gameplay. I found it very interesting to switch between the combat styles of simple hack-and-slashing casually to using different weapons in the same combo with light and heavy attacks to obliterate enimies. it lets the player decide how to approach a situation, of which there was definitely a lot of. The difficulty was challenging, but invests the player more as they get a feel for it, like the first time I played Dark Souls. The story is a tad bit short, but this wasn't too much of an issue due to being so engaged in the actual gameplay. The environments are also quite interesting to see, especially when piecing together the story as you go along.

Good for those just beginning in 3D animation software and want to learn, or for those who are experieced and just want to have fun. It's simplistic enough to a piont where animation is fairly easy to accomplish, yet advanced enough to allow for more complex, detailed sequences. From just short scenes to entire animated films, sfm is a well-rounded program.

Best FPS I've played in a long time. What really caught my eye was how it could be so intense, yet funny at the same time. You could be a Heavy, dominating all who cross your path, when all of a sudden, you find a conga line of Scouts. Sniping is no longer just aim and shoot, you have to charge it up, fire when ready, throw your piss, and retreat, waving your Kukiri. Some classes are easier to play than others, but the real power comes from how you use them. A Heavy is pretty har to kill, if you use a Scout, but if you know how to use Scout well enough, that Heavy won't stand a chance. See what the classes can do. Observe what you know, and show them that you're the true MANN!!!
