I have loved this game despite it's huge glaring flaws which include relying on a community bug fix mod to fix game breaking bugs that devs for some reason refuse to patch until the next big release.

I have loved this game and the two that came before it, despite huge flaws.

Game breaking bugs take literal months to get patched, despite an amazing community bug fix mod being able to fix these bugs quickly.

Content comes out at a snail's pace and often doesn't work as advertised or has features not work at all.

Despite this, the game's foundation is one born of amazing variety and opportunity to play the game in different ways. Until now, I have bought every piece of DLC and played each and every one.

So it's unfortunate that I feel like I have to add my piece and give a negative review. The egregious price increase of the latest DLC, it's lack of content for the cost and the completely out of touch response from Creative Assembly have caused me to feel resentful.

Total War Warhammer has been so enjoyable that I have put up with Creative Assembly's nonsense patch cycle and failed launches. But now, they have pushed myself and the community too far and they're getting what they have earned.

Editing the review and changing this to a recommend CA looks to have learned from their lesson. Like I said before, I genuinely love this game and do what it to continue to succeed and grow. They've done a pass over the recent DLC to flesh it out more to make the value more in line.

Keep it up CA.

There's not many games that fill me with a feeling of emptiness after finishing, but this one goes on that list. A truly enthralling experience from start to end that I couldn't get away from. One of my favourite games of all time, and my favourite RPG of all time.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance hits the nail on the head when it comes to corny humour and over-the-top hack and slash pure action. Although the game is relatively short (took me roughly 6 hours to beat it) and it has very limited replayability, what I did get out of it in those 6 hours was some of the most fun I've had playing an action game ever. Between the INCREDIBLY ridiculous last boss fight and fighting massive robots from the very start and literally slicing them into THOUSANDS of pieces this game is definitely worth whatever price it is going for.

Also... please note this has the Metal Gear title but it is a spin off so very little to no stealth is involved.
