On the last round the shotgun had 4 live and 2 blanks. I shot the two blanks and that sealed my fate. I died. But it was worth it. They playing some bangers in heaven.

The world famous Semmeringbahn. The world's first railway to conquer a mountain in the 1800s. The railway has Was first featured in Train Simulator and is now remade in Train Sim World. It's Austria's one of the most important railway line mainly because it connects Wien with Venice in Italy.

This route comes with the ÖBB 1116 Taurus locomotive which finally has the correct sounds. The interior cab is way more different than in the previous Taurus locomotives from previous DLCs. The new cab features a digital display instead of the old analogue speedometer. The "desk" is also changed from green to blue. The walkway between the two cabs is also remodeled. It also comes with the ÖBB 4024 Talent 1. It's a reused train from Vorarlbergbahn with reused sounds first heard in the Talent 2. There is not much else to talk about it.
With the 1116 there are ÖBB Bmz coaches paired with the locomotive and also with the usual freight wagons. The Bmz from the outside look like the ones that the DB BR 101 pulls but the inside is very much different with the second class interior being made up of only compartments. There is no first class coaches or a restaurant car included. This is typical from ÖBB with them sometimes running intercity trains with only second class coaches.

The route itself is pretty good. The terrain look very realistic which I'm guessing were made with that LIDAR tech that was advertised heavily in the Bernina line DLC. The textures look good it's what you can expect from DTG. The stations look exactly what they look like in real life. They got that very clean look that every ÖBB station has.
This route only features the section between Wiener Neustadt and Mürzzuschlag which is questionable. Like why not include the Wien Hbf - Wiener Neustadt section? The 29.99 price tag would have been more reasonable if it had that section.

I think this route is fine at best. But I can see that there could be a lot more possibilities with this route. But Dovetail Games just doesn't try hard enough. Would have been nicer if it included the Railjet rather than a single locomotive and a single type of coach. Also while driving the Taurus I saw that some buildings were used multiple times at different places. Also why the hell we need NPCs to feel more unique? I think DTG should have spent time on maybe giving new sounds to the 4024 or make the restaurant car and the first class coach for the intercity train. We don't want to see NPCs playing on their phones or reading newspapers. Nobody asked for that.

We should have gotten the Railjet instead of the Bmz coaches. Buy it on a sale. 7/10

This game is basically the definition of "down the rabbit hole". The more you play the more things you will explore. Found a random room? Then it might give you something good or you can read about the Alchemist. Or you beat the game? Then repeat it four more times. Oh. You found a new area? What are you doing? Explore it. Get them cells. Now go and kill the Hand of the King 4 more times and then you can have 5 boss cells. Congrats now you can finally play the game proper!
