Typical pros and cons review

-Pros-
Has one of the best bosses in the series, Friede.
We haven't seen this much of a snowy area in DS3 yet so that's something.

-Cons-
Pretty boring areas that kinda just have enemies in them.
Extremely short for how much money it costs.
There are 7 enemies in the DLC (not including the bosses) that are mostly boring design with an exception or two.

Score: 5/10

Verdict: I really had a hard time with recommending this but I ultimately decided to recommend it simply for Friede. Get it on sale though.

Pros and cons ♥♥♥♥ you know the deal.

-Pros-
4 bosses, quite a few hours of gameplay.
Some of the best areas in DS3.
Contains my favorite boss in all the DS Games along with 2 other VERY well executed bosses in terms of quality.
An amazing finish to the Dark Souls series.

-Cons-
Certain areas have random enemy spam and feels like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at times.

Fast, exhilarating and fluent combat.

Not much replay value.

-Other crap-
Grappling feels a bit repetitive and the spots you can grapple feel somewhat artificial, however, they do it a lot better than most games do.

Score: 8.9/10

Verdict: Only game I've ever bought for full price and on the day it came out. I'm not sure I would recommend spending the full price but you (probably?) won't regret it. Buy it.

I didn't want to be like every other person who just does a pros and cons list but I'm boring and can't think of any other way to write a review.

-Pros-
Great, fluent combat.
Amazing boss fights and enemies.
Unique way of implementing Co-op and PvP.
Great replay value.
Enormous amount of character, item, armor and weapon customization that doesn't get stale.
Great story (even if confusing).

-Cons-
Some areas are painstakingly boring to replay.
Shields make the game pretty easy in PvE and PvP.
Most builds beyond melee weapons are pretty bad.

-I don't know where to put these-
Most areas are drab colors. (Yes, I understand the lore and setting.)
The game is pretty difficult.
The game is also pretty linear story-wise, which is okay for me personally because in DS1/DS2 I got lost and confused a lot.

-I want to die-
Havel's armor and shield.
R1 Spam.
Dexterity builds.
Farming covenant items to 100 percent the game.

Score: 9/10

Sadly, this game isn't available on Steam anymore. It is a great indie game though, takes about 5 minutes, go download it somewhere else.

I really didn't like this game. I wouldn't recommend it until its on sale.

Pretty good game considering how old it is.

I think that this game is probably at the best point it's been at from a mechanical and balance perspective, and that the developers took very radical but necessary changes to make the game better:

- The removal of ACOGs from most attackers

- Valk cams no longer work outside after a few seconds

- Can't see through bullet holes anymore

- Major nerfs to some of the more problematic operators

- Map and operator bans

Damn this game is rubbish.

Pretty much most missions are the same thing after a while. Gets boring sorta fast...
