My favourites will always be Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke and Laputa. :p Though I love Hows moving Castle and My Neighbour Totoro.
It's funny you mention Spore, I was telling a friend yesterday about how the creatures remind me of it, the way they're all random and sometimes spliced together weirdly.

Travelling Europe! Well, some of Europe. Well mainly just Norway. Well, only Norway. I live in Norway and England so I'm travelling between both every month, that counts as travelling though, right? I can cheat!

I've watched a bunch! My girlfriend is a Ghibli noob, so I'm watching everything with her by starting with my favourites obviously. :p I still have the list of things you told me to watch! Though I've started travelling a lot the past few months so I haven't even been able to put a dent in it.. How are you enjoying No Mans Sky? The vastness of it is rather intimidating, I only tried it for an hour. >.<

Thank you! My best friend is a fan of DBZ. I thought I was alone in not really liking it.
Honestly, I suck when it comes to anime, apart from mainstream things like Bleach, Code Geass and the odd lowballer, like Diabolik Lovers and Freezing. (I liked Freezing, ssshh), I haven't found a lot of time in my life to watch. Sad excuse when I manage to find so much time for gaming, but meh, it's still my excuse. I do intend to, I have a list of things to watch, I'm just slowly slowly getting through them. 17 seasons of Pokemon took me 4 months, I stopped watching a few months ago because Iris makes it unbareable to go on.

I'm saving those movies now. I'll watch them before 2016. I'll force myself to find time. :p

I haven't watched many non-Ghibli/Hayao anime movies so I'm sad I can't mention others. I mean, I have tonnes of DVD that I've just never gotten around to watching. Origin was actually one I wanted to watch, maybe I'll make time for it. But my first ever was Laputa, I remember it coming on TV at 3am, I had school in the morning but eh, it looked interesting, and I loved it. They definitely have a way of enrapturing you.

Steam says I can't post it all as one. :(

I find they just have better voices in general. The only Ghibli movie I liked with an English Dub is Howls Moving Castle. I'm not sure if it was because of the gritty voices, but they're just terrible in the other movies. And the emotions are all over the place so it sounds out of place.

Aw man, I've never been a fan of DBZ. Not sure why, but probably because every episode is the same, 2 guys fight. One loses. And doesn't the main guy die like a hundred times, and always get ressurected somehow?

Kind of what makes me like Princess Mononoke, the fact it isn't all sunsets and daisies like the other movies. It definitely helped spark my passion for Japanese folklore. Well thats a little lie, have you ever heard of the game Project Zero/Zero? That. That is what sparked it. That game was art.

Great choice, I watched Spirited Away with a girlfriend a while ago, and she made me watch it English Dubbed. I cried a little inside. You definitely like the more obscure ones though, huh. Princess Mononoke is mine. It's going to be one my tattoos in the New Year. :x But yeah, there isn't a single unlikeable movie of Hayao.
