A great time and while it may remind some of a certain Pizza Themed platformer, Anton stands on its own two feet with a plethora of personality and gameplay dynamics that really give it it's own uniqueness.

Its not bad, the humor didn't really hit like I felt like it intended to. As far as gameplay goes, it gets very repetitive near the end but that's par the course for beat em up's. I did enjoy the game for the most part playing with friends but I wouldn't really recommend if you're looking for a new beat em up experience. 6/10.

Albeit a very short experience, the game is very addicting and the climax that leads into the second game sets up very nicely.

Beautfiul. I feel like comparing this to Hotline Miami doesn't do it justice although it does take inspiration from it in some respects. The visuals are oddly entrancing and the music brings this otherworldly high that helps lift the moment to moment gameplay to levels that I believed peaked with the Hotline Miami franchise. But like I said this game stands on its own with an incredibly engaging story through its constant look into the main characters past and figuring out what all these senseless killings amount to. While the main story isn't long it doesn't overstay its welcome either. The game reels you in with increasingly difficult set pieces, the sole weapon of choice, a Katana, a deathwish, and the ability to slow down time. It offers very versatile level design that never felt repetitive till the very end. I look forward to the DLC and hope that the story can offer some more clarity on the dozens upon dozens of questions that it has presented in its mindboggling climax.

"Time moves forward, and nothing changes." One of the best third person shooters I've ever played. This seems to have been the staring influence for the gunplay in GTA V which, for the most part, felt very repetitive and unrewarding. But in this, every gun shot, car exploded, hit taken or painkillers downed has weight and really brings immersion to the unrewarding work that is Max Payne's life / final chapter in this exciting and underrated classic.

Halo is a staple video game for anyone and everyone that has played one. At some point the name has atleast been mentioned whenever discussing the medium and this collection encapsulates all of what made the game such a worthy piece of art to remember for lifetimes.

I am writing this with 6 hours in the game and will more than likely have even more after im done. I had never played Spelunky but always saw it being praised in the indie game group with stuff like Fez and Braid. While the quality is reminiscent of that factor nothing compares to its rinse and repeat formula and mountains upon mountains of undiscovered secrets, trivia and so on. Sure, the game is hard but its the sense of exploration that keeps me, and im certain many others, coming back to the game.
