I played this game when it came out on battlenet, took a break and then played it again for 100 hours when it came out on steam with shadow keep, I used to love this game and others still do, but I just cant enjoy it anymore with the lack of progression and the lack of any real objective. I cant say its in a better state without activision because I really dont know, but what I do know is I find my self bored and confused when I relaunch it and find no real drive forward, no levels no set in stone campaign, which is not inherently a bad thing, but I just dont have the drive forward like I used to. Many people love the game in its current state and I can see why but I just cant find myself playing a game without a real progression system other than a number that goes up when you put on a piece of gear with a higher number than the one you had on.

Just straight up closes itself every time I launch it

I would rather spend a weekend with Hermann Göring than with the man who thought the only way to progress was through a battlepass and challenges was a good idea, i'm going to start donating 28% of my income to a fundraiser to find a cure for mental retardation so people stop thinking of ideas like this.

I never really enjoyed rts games until Age of Empires 2. I had play games like Starcraft 2 and Supreme Commander but no rts game has captured my attention like this one. And the remaster adds a lot of new great quality of life features that the HD edition lacked, weather its on a sale or not get this game.

It runs like dog water but other than that it is great, if you can get a few friends together and play some D.U.W.S or Dynamic Combat Ops you will have a great time. Even without mods it is a very good game and will give you hundreds of hours of fun, if you don't have friends to play with then you wont enjoy it as much but the community for this game is very nice and you will find some people to play with in no time. Sale or not make sure to pick this and its DLC up, especially S.O.G Prairie Fire.

Very fun game

for 2001 its not bad, the ads system and the mouse control are a little... dated I guess, but other than that the game is fun and worth to be picked up on a sale.

Might actually stop playing when they add emotes, it undermines the entire point of the game and makes it one step closer to battlefield.

Apart from the dumbass shift login thing, this game is amazing, make sure to pick up the goty edition on a sale.

Why do i have to buy a second season pass when i pre ordered the most expensive version, 2k sucks so so much.
