Play different kinds of mini-games until one contestant is declared victorious. Similar to playing Mario Party mini-games but without the board with 59 other players. It gets chaotic which makes it so much fun.

I think someone put it best by saying this is like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past but on steroids. The dungeon designs are very reminiscent of a Zelda game as well.

Combat is crazy good
Story is excellent
Soundtrack is very nice
Puzzles are a nice challenge
Writing/Dialogue is great

There was not much that I did not like. The only things I can think of was that I could not use any key on the keyboard (left Ctrl for example) when I was rebinding some controls. Also, it was not a problem for me but maybe there should be a main quest tracker of some sort in case you were to set the game down for a while. You might not know what to do when you pick it back up.

Deck Nine did a superb job with Chloe's character and personality, and also telling an engaging story onwhat was happening between Chloe and Rachel when Max left for Seattle. It made me love Chloe even more. If you loved Life is Strange, this is a must play.

This game made me go through an emotional roller coaster and the story still sticks with me 2 weeks after playing it. I highly recommend this game to anybody. The gameplay and controls are simple since the story is the star of the show. Also, I think the soundtrack is hella awesome.

If you are reading this review and really liked the game, especially the deuteragonist (Chloe), then I recommend playing Life is Strange: Before the Storm which is a prequel to this game.

Having played through this game to the end twice now, it has been one Hela an amazing experience (pun intended). I really love what Ninja Theory has done with this work of art from the story to the environment design and I consider this game to be one of the best story-immersive games out there due to the amazing sound design as well. This game takes its time to build up its story so if you're that kind of person who always wants action, HellBlade may be a bit slow for your liking. If not, I definitely recommend that you should pick this up as your next adventure game and give it a try.

Oh and you should play this game with your best set of headphones. I highly recommend you do that. If not, you'll only be robbing yourself of the full experience.

The only thing that I did not like was that not all keyboard actions are listed in the control menu where it tells you what each button does since there is no tutorial. To save you some hassle of figuring it out yourself, I discovered two actions you can do in combat that are not listed in the menu:
1.) Tab - Allows you to switch between enemy targets
2.) Hold down the Heavy Attack button - Prepares a sort of charge attack in which Senua holds her sword upright. You can also do some quick dodge maneuvers while in this state by moving left or right. This move can only be done after a certain point in the game which I won't mention to avoid spoliers but I'm pretty sure it will be obvious when the point is.

I want to point out that there is a warning at the very beginning of the game in which if you are a sufferer of psychosis, playing this game may be...distressing for you.

The best online multiplayer, first-person shooter game out there and it's free! What's not to love? Best of all, this game has been coming out with constant updates since its release, featuring new weapons, maps, and best of all, hats. There are literally over 100 weapons and even more hats out there to be collected. Miscellaneous items are added to spice things up a bit such as painting your hats and saving and editing replays. In case your wondering, hats are a big cosmetic accessory in the Team Fortress 2 universe and are the main items that give your character some flair. With nine different classes to play as, you are bound to find a favorite and adds even more variety to the already plethora of content packed into this game. I praise its visual style, giving a comical yet adorable look and reminds us that it is just all fun and games. I highly recommend this game to any species intelligent enough to play a video game and one who favors first-person shooters.
