Very good Steam Deck game. The Open World aspect is done very well and it actually does feel like an open world (which isn't always a given this day n age)! I got through it and I liked the majority of the gameplay very much (those minigames and that spooky atmosphere really spiced it up!) but I desperately needed some fast travelling several times! This easily deserves a 10/10 though, because this is the 1st project of a group of indi-devs and I actually finished it. I haven't even finished Elden Ring yet!

Playtime: 6 hours (offline on my Steam Deck)
Extremely linear walking simulator. The pace in which you unlock new mechanics is simply boring and tedious. I don't care how much they wanna sell this as a Harvest Moon / Stardew Valley inspired game, it absolutely flops in its gameplay loop, I got bored immediately after reaching every border/edge of the map!

Early Access Review
Its great but please give me more things to do and more unique starts so that there is replayability. I'm sure you'll get there though!

Great Castle Vania game, terrible Mario game
The platforming is so painful and then you even fully die when you fall down a pit, 99% of my deaths so far are from falling which is honestly really bad, I really like the combat so far but it feels really bad having to come back the entire way because I fell into some pit, it's honestly just annoying and doesn't add anything to the experience, just take 10% of my HP, don't make me walk back :(

A few months ago I came back to this game for the third time. Sadly nothing changed. If you wanna make a platforming game, it has to play really well and the majority of gameplay IS platforming. I am a massive fan of metroidvanias, I played a ton of them but this one just lacks the smooth movement I'm used to and I cant get myself to enjoy it :steamsad:

Good game, perfect versatile combat, Ive never had that much fun, lil whacky lock on system (Just dont use it tbh), insanely well connected world, very awkward plot twist at the end that gave the Sins a lot more meaning out of nowhere (Not gonna spoiler more) and the councel less meaning (Probably the reason why peopel dislike the Story) however great character developement, Fury became my fave rider. Only downside from a gameplay perspective is the huge lack in Healing items, you basically have "a chance" to get a healing item from every enemy you defeat but when you are about to face a boss you wanna have all of them and I am not gonna go back to another area to farm healing items, just let me refill them at the checkpoint... 8/10
