If you're new to Persona like me, this is the best place to start especially before the Remake comes out in the near future. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to my love for this game. It's emotional, funny, can be serious, difficult, fun to play and amazing to experience in terms of it's story and the depth this game provides for the 100 hours I have spent on one save alone (including the golden ending which in my opinion is a must). The game to be fair at first can take a while to get used to or get the ball rolling but once you get more and more into the story it grips your curiosity and attention and never lets go until you finish the game. From the fantastic story, to amazing side characters (which have a story of their own), to the gameplay of the dungeons and the phenomenal music. This game truly is an amazing package for having fun with the story but also undertaking challenges in the dungeon and managing time in game effectively. But overall this game can be chill af, you can just lay back and enjoy the story. If you need a detox from multiplayer games or you want a new flavour of single player games to try. Please give Persona 4 a try and you'll delve into a rabbit hole of ATLUS games. I am on persona 5 now but its thanks to this game I got used to the format of persona games and I can adapt to other games like these. Verdict for this game is a near perfect 9/10, the game is from 2008 so keep in mind there are things that could be updated overtime but that's why ATLUS is giving this game a remake and hopefully soon we can experience it with a modern touch. But please give this game a try if you're new to persona games or ATLUS games in general. You will not regret it.

If you want the rating already I would easily give it a solid 9.5/10 and this review is only based on the single player experience which I haven't played the multiplayer but unfortunately it seems the multiplayer feature for this game didn't get the love it deserved. If you truly want a game you can sink hundreds of hours into, discovering this brutal yet beautiful world, with one of the best stories I have ever had the fortune of witnessing for the first time even 6 years after the game released. Well this game can be just for you, but only if you have patience. Admittedly this game can feel slow, its a big world, you're on a horse, it'll take you to get from point A to B, but eventually once you learn the game you'll start taking advantages of the game and speed it up yourself. And trust me when I say this that you're patience pays off when you play one of the best protagonist in video game history. The story truly does grab you, and never wants to let you go from start to the very last cut scene whilst tugging with your emotional strings as you grow with Arthur. But I should stress this and say that I have had issues with this game here and there, specifically with technical issues. You can work around it and if you pull through with it, it'll be so worth it.
There are many game I have yet to play, but as far as right now. I haven't played a campaign I loved more than Red Dead Redemption 2. I'll miss this game and its journey because I won't be able to experience it for the first time again, but it has been an absolute pleasure. Do yourself a favour and buy the game just for the story. It was worth every penny.

Resident Evil 4 is one of the most iconic video games of all time. A lot of people may have had their doubts over a remake of such great game and now the question is did they fu*k it up. The answer is no they did not. They have made one of my favourite games of all time. Now a disclaimer I am a new fan to resident evil games and I started off with this one. I grew up with resident evil 4 as my dad played it back in the day, I have seen some segments of the game that are resembled in the remake and it is presented in a phenomenal fashion. Now I have had a look at comparisons with the original and the remake and there are couple of bit to mention that are different.

First up is combat, so with the original game because of the awkward aiming you have to stand and aim a laser sight, the enemies are a bit more tame compared to the remake. In the remake the combat is modernised with a cross hair that tightens up when your stand still for a more precise shot. From what I saw this is something modern resident evil game have and this brings a nice dynamic to the battles you encounter as you realise that enemies in the remake are much more aggressive and you bring a bigger tensity to the fights. With the remake your resources matter a lot more especially in combat scenarios as I struggled couple of times on just standard difficulty and the game makes you decide what weapon you wanna run with until the end of the game as upgrades are very important with the inclusion of exclusive upgrade tickets which are purchasable via spinals that you can find through defeating enemies or completing side contracts that the merchant provides each chapter. Another thing to mention about combat is that in the original your knife is a very important weapon to help you in CQB scenarios and destroying boxes to get items. But in the remake the knife can be upgraded and is has a durability factor which also bring another layer of intensity as in some situations you can be grabbed and you either have and option of trying to break free (whilst taking damage) or use your knife but that wears it out even more. You can also parry in the remake, whether is a oncoming attack from an enemy or even a oncoming bolt and even a fu*cking chainsaw, which in the original if you see a chainsaw man/woman one hit and your dead. Now you can defend yourself and not sh*t the bed when you hear a chainsaw in the distance. On thing I should mention though is despite having a wear factor on the knife you also have a get out of jail card which are disposable knifes which you can collect them to use them in combat or use them to craft arrows. Overall combat is fun as hell and it keeps that survival horror aspect which resident evil was known for.

Now for the story, from what I have gathered the story is more or less the same but tweaked in some necessary ways. For example the original game was known to be a bit goofy considering the writing wasn't the best but it brought some charm to the original story. In the remake they have fleshed out the characters a bit more to seem a bit real, for example Ashley isn't an annoying b*tch, instead she seems like a real traumatised young girl that over the span of the story she gradually builds some bravery and builds a decent bond with Leon which kinda makes it seem like a decent character to have around. Speaking of Ashley she is easier to manage, doesn't have a health bar and if she gets hit she will be incapacitated which you can pick her up as soon as you can before she dies.

Moving onto Leon, in the remake they also fleshed out his character to use his trauma of what happened in resident evil 2 and use it as a great motivation factor to save Ashley and care for other characters like Luis and Ada. To me it shows character development, something that Leon probably should've had in the original considering that before was just a catalogue of one liners which probably made you question if he actually had any trauma from the previous events. Couple more thing to mention, with the story being slightly altered some one liners have disappeared (besides the bingo line) and also some puzzles have been tweaked to be a bit more easy. If that's something that bother you and you want challenging puzzles you won't find that here but some infuriating puzzles have been rightfully removed and one of the bosses that was apparently really annoying and weak.

To sum it up, Resident Evil 4 is a wonderful remake of an iconic game that revolutionised modern 3rd person shooters with amazing updates to the game in terms of combat, story and loads more activities to do, whether it's side missions or completion challenges. It's game I am sure you can sink many more hours into considering I still have a lot more left to do, and I would highly recommend getting this game if you want to experience something new or if you're a long term resident evil fan. Considering for me there aren't many faults of this game I would have to nitpick the negatives, my eyes it's a 9.5/10 game.

Get that sh*t on my mama

First off the game to me is a 7.5/10, a good start to a game with a lot of potential.

To start off this game is actually really good fun if you're into managing stuff like the team which this does way better than my team in F1 22, although I know you race in game I wish there was a little bit of control like offering a team strategy or something like that. This game does challenge you in how you manage drivers pace, fuel, tyres, ERS, strategy, car development, spending cost, research and so on and so fourth. I have had fun managing Alpine and for people looking for a bigger challenge starting with lower team could be your thing. I love managing my drivers setup throughout practise programs which adds a layer of dedication to spend time throughout practise sessions and overall I enjoyed my time on this game...... but it does have issues.

You will see in a lot of reviews that this game needs improvements and that is true. Right now I have had some issues with the game where tyre deg at high temp isn't good enough, the traffic is diabolical especially when it comes to blue flags. There isn't a section to develop anything for the engine when it comes to reliability besides maybe cooling but I would love something a little more in depth stuff like the tech tree in the F1 22 game. I would love to be part of press conference to have an affect on the team or at least address the media. The game has couple more issues like bugs which are kinda annoying but can be ironed out but I am annoyed that games are released this way so I still feel disappointment in that department. I want to touch on the blue flags and traffic because it drives me insane sometimes. There are moments throughout the race where you are in a battle and the way cars move out the way and how your AI drivers deals with them is horrendous, it's like suddenly your drivers become the biggest puss*es to pass a car that you are lapping it's ridiculous. I would love for that to be addressed because it really impacts the race dynamic and sometimes it really does ruin a race. The AI need to at least need to be improved to a level of codemasters where drivers know how to act on a track. I also want to touch on drivers and overtaking in this game. When you try and get drivers to overtake sometimes the AI is so weird at overtakes and sometimes they let off even though they have the right to overtake or just hold position. I remember in Baku down the second straight there was space for my driver to use his overtake but he just stayed behind them and it was really annoying because I waste my ERS for absolutely nothing. It's ridiculous that your driver has high aggression and overtaking stats but it doesn't look like it. They have a good car but they can't overtake for sh*t. I hope they can address this still because I want this game to be good but stuff like this is immersion breaking and sometimes it puts you off and you don't want to play the game for a little bit.

Overall this game is pretty good and to be fair I pre ordered this game. Luckily I don't regret it because I enjoy the game but in my opinion I would suggest to wait it out, let the price drop and maybe by then there will be couple of patches. The prices itself right now isn't bad compared to industry standard but I would wait if it's like maybe £25 or something like that. I would recommend this game for sure but don't be in a rush, if you're looking for a manager game that is motorsport related then give this a try and don't be afraid to buy it. You can look past some issues but I pointed out the ones that personally affect me but it's not that drastic. I just think they have a good blueprint and they need to work on improvements for now to make this game really good because it has good potential and it's up to the devs to unlock that potential.

So far this is the best NFS of the decade and here's why. (FYI I put a total of 108 hours into this game with origin launcher and steam launcher combined)
For the past couple of years nfs was a struggling franchise that had many misses rather than hits. It struggled with payback being lacklustre and boring, nfs 2015 was a horrific reboot a lot to hate about the game and let's not forget mw 2012 which was just one of the biggest disappointments in the entire franchise. This game is a huge comeback, not to full glory but a comeback that shows the ghost can deliver a great game (shame that they are shut down because they were onto something) and it looks like we may have a bright future for NFS if criterion continue that route. Let's start off with good points. The customisation as with most of the nfs games is fantastic, from great widebody selections to exhaust note tuning to engine swapping this game still proves that when it comes to customising cars nfs is still the better series at doing so. I have no idea why people think forza horizon is somehow better with customisation when it just isn't. Maybe it's because forza allows you to drive train swap anything to awd and it makes the car instantly better because people are boring, whereas in nfs heat when it comes to performance upgrades it is very simplistic and easy to understand when you have a chart showing where your car sits within performance standings, from grip to drift and on road to off road. Another thing that nfs heat nails has to be the map. Now I hear people saying bUt ThE mAp iS dEaD, until you realise why. The more I played the more I realised why there aren't so many cars on the road and it all comes down to is sense of speed and cop chases. Even with the low traffic population, when I'm going so fast in a car blitzing through the map, the traffic feels like they are around the corner at every turn waiting to catch you off guard making you damage your car (another cool feature added to the game), to me there is just enough amount of traffic to give you a breathing space before making you rage while you're going 200+mph in a McLaren or a Ferrari especially in cop chases. And overall I feel like nfs got the modern Miami vibe right alongside the soundtrack but to me I feel like soundtrack is all up to people's taste in music and it can get repetitive so I would recommend just looking at songs on spotify if you fancy . Another thing I love about this game are races in day and night. For the first time in a long while I felt risk in a racing game and maybe it's just me but I love the feeling that I can risk so much and it's either a massive satisfaction suriving heat level 5 or a gutted feeling that you didn't bank in the rep earlier. I also love that the heat level is a rep multiplier because that pushes you to go further. It's also great to see that the day n night cycle isn't just a gimmick, since you have to go through both of them to progress further in the game (Day = earn money, night = earn rep). Another thing I like about this game is it's graphics, with a good you rig can enjoy this beautiful game with it's lighting and night effects. I got a rtx 3070 with ryzen 5 3600 and to me this game through low and high speed looks fantastic. Final major plus has to be the campaign but it's not perfect. I really liked that this didn't feel like too much of a fast and furious knock off like payback was and despite having few cheesy lines (let's be fair nfs story wouldn't complete without a bit of cheese) for some reason this story was just so much better than anything nfs released over the decade (maybe it matches the run story) but I won't get into spoilers. Before you twist my words or anything MW05 still has the best story of any NFS to this day. Either way I really enjoyed the story but here is where cons begin. Few more things i like before I move on to cons:
1. Car list
2. Handling (10x better than nfs 2015)
3. Car sounds (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing especially with exhaust tuning)
4. Limited repairs in the night
5. Heat races for exclusive parts
Now first con has to be the length of the story. If I was trying to smash through the main story asap, it'd be done in about 5 hours (maybe less) and as I mentioned earlier I really liked the story but I felt like it could've been a bit longer. Next thing I didn't like is the lack of support for this game because there's not a lot to make me come back to the game unless I want to 100% complete the game with collectables and ♥♥♥♥. No proper online races or events (which I must give it to forza they do that well) and if EA would've given more time or a chance for GHOST to work on this game instead of shutting them down, I reckon that this game would've had couple of DLC's, more online features added and the game could've been better. And despite having few crashes and bugs, I feel like this game is a massive step forward. It leave a lot to be desired for some but as a fan of nfs underground 1 & 2, most wanted 2005 and carbon I am really satisfied and if you're a fan of those games you will be too. I feel like personally I had more fun on this game than Forza Horizon 3 and 4 combined. To me Forza Horizon is just boring and I don't understand how people think Forza Horizon is the best racing game ever when it just isn't. This game is better than forza horizon 3 & 4 and don't let people who don't play racing games tell you otherwise because at the end of the day they'll won't play this game for more than 3 or 4 hours since they already had enough fun with their Lambo since it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy to get xD. Jokes asides I highly recommend this game for people who want to try out a new racing game and give this game a chance. Best way to get it is on discount with the deluxe edition or EA play (The better option if you're not gonna play the game for a long time).

To start of this is one of my favourite games to chill out and have fun. Its obviously has a nice big map that looks great, it has nice explorability, and it has nice rain mechanic (Though I wish there was more rain and a bit of snow). The game has brilliant mods that don't effect the gameplay which still allows you to earn achievements, it has a great progression system which makes you start from nothing and work your way up to the point you can run a business and get a bit of money daily (in game). It has radio that ranges from different countries and suprisingly it streams the radios which is an awesome feature, and also you can make a folder in games files and add in your downloaded songs (note that some songs may not play so I would prefer the radio). When it comes to trucks it varies between 7 different brands and what i like about this game is that it allows you to pick your first truck and build it up to the top tier trucks which is also cool. The multiplayer aspect of this game is also pretty cool but note you're going to have to download that seperatly which is free thankfully, but one thing you should remember is that if you use any mods in game they won't transfer into the multiplayer( and there will be knobs in the game), you could still continue your progress and once you come into the single player you will return to your starting garage with all the mods. The great thing about this game is how it's a simulator and it has things you would expect in real life which makes you emeraged with the game when you have to look out for your characters tiredness and fuel in your truck. Overall this game is a fantastic game to lay back and chill out while listening to your radio, crack open a cold oneeand enjoying the landscape this game has while you're actively progessing through the game. If you're sick of online games, just buy this game and you won't regret it.
