Until they lower the price (which owned by Ubisoft they probably won't) I won't recommend it.

I feel that the physics are not at all what they should be.
I can be going ~60mph off a roof and drop straight to the ground as if I walked off it when doing a challenge.

My rider is CONSTANTLY assuming goofy stance (HUGE turnoff). I realize you must be able to ride both however I prefer regular and I prefer to see my character ride regular when he starts a line. (yes I just assumed his gender - sue me)

Tricks - there's not many variations.

Graphics - 10/10.

I'd like to see more brands in this game. Being a rider of Never Summer I'd LOVE to be able to ride my board but I realize that'll never happen due to licensing and whatnot.

Pricepoint - 0/10. It's done well but I'd never think of valuing this at $60. I'd say it's worth $40 at most.

It's a good game overall, however the game has been out since February and they still only have THREE vehicles in the game and the map is still horribly small. Stop with the unneccessary DLC like wheel packs and get more trucks and bigger areas for the map. Come on SCS I know you can do better than this, especially for being released almost a year ago.

The game is good with mods, without mods, I'd be bored in two hours.

There are still ONLY FOUR TRUCKS in this game. STOP WORKING ON MAPS AND OTHER POINTLESS DLC BEFORE GETTING MORE TRUCKS IN THE GAME.

Servers still broken as all hell, and trying to connect with friends is still a nightmare.

This game is a great concept and can be fun.

Pros:
Good character ideas
Cool special abilities
Destructible terrain (walls,doors,roof,etc.)
Decent character ability balance

Cons:
Damage and armor ratings are worthless
Ash is a 1 armor character and is still the most OP character in the game healthwise. (Ubisoft knows about this and still has yet to change it)
They just added THERMAL for Glaz. OP much? Ruined the game completely with this.
Takes forever to find a ranked match
Ranked still says "beta" even after a full year of game release
Every time Ubisoft fixes one thing, they break another
There are more that I cant think of right now, but mostly the weapon damage ratings vs armor ratings are the most worthless thing in the game. Glaz can shoot a 1 armor character (ash, cav, etc) once center mass and they'll still be up and running. Glaz's gun has over 100 damage. Explanation?)


After 250+ hours on this game I'm finally giving up. The game sucks. It's like DayZ, gradually gets worse as time goes on.

And if you were wondering because you think I'm bad, I was platinum in ranked the last two seasons. The game sucks and remains broken because Ubish*t can't get it right.

This game is more like a book, but a very interactive book. I'm not sure if it's a choose your own adventure or what. But like a few others mentioned, the storyline is a bit of a tear jerker, and you'll be like "wow" within ten minutes. It gives you opportunity to test your morality as well. I completed the storyline within a few hours but because A) I had nothing else to do, and B) I wanted to find out what happens next.

I would rate this probably 9/10, not a full 10 because I think they could have made it a bit longer and more adventureous, but still it's amazing. Would buy again.

If you are not playing on modded servers - don't bother playing. It still spawns you with a light stick and piece of fruit..and that's it. They took away spawning with a melee weapon. To get anywhere, you need to get away from the coast to find ANY sort of decent loot including food.
Zombies are beefed up so they never ♥♥♥♥ off at this point.
Playing vanilla servers isn't just a grind - there's no reward. It's a waste of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time and isn't remotely fun whatsoever.

After watching a few good YouTube videos I figured I'd give it another go. Here is the result:

Pros: There are none

Cons:
1: More than half of the servers do not work, and will not connect. This goes for custom servers as well.
2: This has turned in to "run to find food until you die trying to find food." Out of 3 hours playing this game today, I found one can of food. ONE. (1). Yes, I got away from the coast. I went to the middle of the map and still only found one.
3: If we have to run away from the coast to do anything, why do our characters automatically spawn hungry? This game is not fun whatsoever to play.

I also think that the fact that this game is still $34.99 is an insult to the gaming community. It's literally not worth more than a dollar. When the game first came out and was buggy as all hell but was actually FUN to play and you could actually find things without the devs ruining the map and the spawns for loot, it was worth that.

My Old Review:

This game over time has drastically declined. I do not recommend anyone spend money on this. Play Arma III mods because they're 100x better than this game.

Pros:

Frames and overall optimization of the game has drastically increased

Cons:

No loot spawns in the south or coastal anymore, almost EVERYTHING of value is in the northwest.
You run and run and run. Thats 90% of the game.
They don't spread out the loot spawns and probably never will.
People camp the only loot spawns there are (more of a reason to expand them)


This game will never be as good as it was upon release.
For the sake of your wallet, do not spend money on this game.
