Early Access Review
Have to throw my coin into the pot of thumbs up here. Fantastic game that has kept me occupied while I've been going through a rough patch in my life. The constant hours of exploring the ever changing dungeon has always been a blast. It took everything that was fantastic about Rogue Legacy 1 and amped it up. I'll write a full review most likely when the game is fully out, but it's still in early access. With this comes a bunch of weird features and bugs that aren't fully ironed out yet. Such as traits clashing with each other and managing to make your character have -110% HP (Pacifist with born fighter?...) Or a segment or two where I found myself accidentally clipping through walls and objects with dash. Other than that I enjoy the pieces of lore sprinkled through the game, the classes, the dungeon, and even overall feeling of controls. Even though I will admit this game is tough as nails with enemies being able to blast you through walls. Which can be a selling point for some people or a no-go.

I'll come back and rewrite and change this review once the game is in full release.

Wow they weren't lying, this really is the successor to Super Mario 64.

Jokes aside, I really want to put in the bucket on how much of a fantastic experience this game is. I don't have time anymore to write down full reviews, but I felt if I reviewed this game from top to bottom I would only repeat what others have said and it would ruin some of the magic this game has. It's a trippy and fun joyride from start to finish and it's definitely a game I can see myself coming back to play over and over again.

I'd honestly check CV11's review to see if this game would interest you.

Other than that, I wish you the best on your new career path.

Well, this DLC certainly has blown my expectations out of the water and I am very impressed with the product that was released. I'll keep this short and sweet as this is a DLC where I seriously can't find anything bad about it. It's exactly as described, and the monster taming system as well as the new classes are just fantastic that it adds in. Along with the missions and even guild system.

Although I will say the strongest point of this DLC has to be the monster part of it and especially the unique classes. It is absolutely overwhelming with all the content that was added for the monsters alone.

I will come back and edit my review after I have 100%'d the game with the dlc installed.

I just had to leave a thumbs up for the time being as I already got about 30ish hours and it's money well spent I say for something I spent around 13$ for.

Well, I originally reviewed this game positively on release. However, the devs made the game suddenly free and unmade it from the ground up, kind of... Making my original positive review null and void as I don't want my review to be misleading since it's now a different game entirely. Although, no, I do not appreciate the drastic changes for the product I originally bought.

I don't think I'll be revisiting the game either.

I don't know why, but this finished product slightly feels more alpha than the alpha-build... Maybe it'll get patched and updated in the future

Haven't really reviewed this game really and or yet, mostly cause I know there's tons of reviews covering it already... Watched this game before it even remotely came out and bought when it first released, my game time is sadly lying as I play offline mostly and have over a thousand hours dropped into this one at least. Just wanted to put in a positive review real quick to support the game developer for making such a beautiful masterpiece

I can't believe I haven't dropped a positive review for this game yet. Better late than never I will admit, and I'll make this nice and sweet. This game reminds me of a mix of Doom 64 (Which is a god-send of a game, as long as you're not dealing with that 64 controller) and of course Quake.

The Atmosphere? Perfect. The Music? Legendary. Level Design? Memorable. The Gunplay? Fantastic.

Dusk has to be my second favorite game I played in all of 2018, and it was an absolute pleasure playing through it. That's all I have to say for now, I may come in and revise this review for later.

I really wish there was a neutral option for a game like this. This game is an absolute mixed bag, there's both bad and then there's some good. Unfortunately the bad really outweighs the good... First off I am of course going to start with all the things I really enjoyed about the game. For starters I really like the graphical style of the game. It oddly reminds me of those old flipnotes or flash games I used to see when I was younger. So that may be a more nostalgic point for me. Another really good point is the game actually has a fantastic story. Despite it being a fetish game, which it is, and don't you dare let anyone else tell you otherwise... (and you know that's the only reason you bought it.) The story kept me interested and was the only reason I pushed on playing. I wanted to know what happened here, and what is going on in this really odd world.

Now let me get onto the actual bad points of the game. This game is one of the worst controlling games I have played in a long while... I'm usually used to how horror games would control on RPG maker, but this is just downright atrocious. It could be a mix of the graphics or something along the lines of that, but... Either way, you're going to be fighting the controls a whole lot and a lot of deaths you're going to feel were not your fault at all. Also... The game feels horribly designed. Such as many puzzles and challenges the game throws at you being down to sometimes pure luck. There are going to be many moments where you want to absolutely tear your hair out.

Although the worst sin of all is how you get all of the endings... I played this game 100% blind the first time and I had to restart, over and over and over and over, because I didn't do something correct that I had no indication of doing. That means fighting the controls the whole way through again, and doing the same puzzles that even rely on luck many, many times again. This right here is just purely bad game design, and there's several endings that you need to get to... if you even make it that far. If you play on medium difficulty and or don't do specific things that the game has not told you about- you get a bad ending, and have to completely restart as the Dev, YES- The Dev is a self insert character- Tells you what you did wrong and wants you to reset the entire game from the very beginning... The Dev... Is talking to you directly as his OC...

Now this is his first game and project, and I can tell because he actually tells you that in the game when he speaks to you. Now I could be kinder, but you just don't... Do that... I have nothing against him, and good on him for following his dreams and making this game. Although personally talking to the player as your OC and punishing them cause they did something that was your fault is... Awkward...

Now for my final point to where I keep on seeing people say "OWO PURO HURR DURR" and that's the only thing they say in the positive review portion of the section... Puro is a flat and even one dimensional character who offers nothing. I even asked a few members of the CHANGED community to what his character and personality even is... There was no responses. It's weird as the game FORCES you to like him, as if you don't be nice to him, say goodbye to your save file... And be prepared for the game author being upset that you were not nice to his OC enough. (Although not all the characters are bad, I actually enjoyed the others presented in the game.) I will say at least Puro has a very appealing and simple design. So that is a major bonus on him... But character wise?... I think there should've been a lot more done, and forcing the player to like him is what kills it.

I rate this game on a Neutral stand-point, and I hope the Dev can make improvements on his next project and I hope you enjoyed reading my criticisms on the game. I'm always open for comments and discussion, and will revise this review if it calls for it.

I'd recommend this game for it's story and the special content it would provide for people who are into this sort of thing, but other than that? The gameplay holds it back so much that I have to give this a thumbs down. Loved the story, characters and setting... But hated the gameplay so much that it hurt to play.

(Also a slight negative is that I noticed that my achievements broke and they refused to work... I'm not too concerned about it, but it is something that happened even after completing everything. Although that could be on my end as I play most of my games offline as getting connected to the internet sometimes is a rarity.)

IMPORTANT EDIT: After random death threats and hatred on the Furry fandom for no good reason that don't even apply for this review, I have decided to close the comment section. Mostly for the fact of nothing being on topic, and it annoys me when I see two people going at it and disregarding the review entirely. If you wish to talk to me in a professional matter about this review, please contact me. My review was not meant to discriminate against the fandom what so ever, but instead inform people about this game and it's positives and flaws.

One more edit: The person who made the game is far from a bad person, and is now making a new project that wants to distance itself from Changed. I do not regret making my purchase and I am quite anticipated to see what they come up with. I also want to just make sure that my review does not seem like I am attacking the creator in anyway either, and honestly hope they see this review on what can be improved.

An absolute Knacksterpiece.

I'll probably be echoing what has already been said here, but I do want to highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of movement shooters and or Hexen or Heretic. Going to be honest, despite it trying to imitate older games, I actually enjoy this one more than I did the two it was based off of. Every realm is a new adventure with new architecture, enemies and even challenges. The devs are also amazing people, and I believe anyone should support. It's also got quite the replay-ability to if you want to speedrun or get all the secrets. Well that's all I have to say about. Just wanted to throw my two cents on in. I may come back and edit this review later...

Early Access Review
Alright, I've come to edit my review of this game. I meant to do this on release, however I just haven't had the time and at one point? My interest in Risk of Rain 2 died whence it fully came out. I don't feel like talking your ear off so I'll give out this list of pros and cons.

>>Pros

>Extremely fun with friends
>Pretty moddable
>Makes you feel like a God on a good run
>Makes you feel pathetic on a good run
>Lots of items to enjoy
>A good chunk of characters from robots to aliens to the average humanoid
>Some survivors return from RoR1 and there's some new ones
>Gameplay feels great

>Cons, which will mostly be comparing the first game to the second

>Game can be a buggy mess sometimes
>The lore is absolutely god awful in comparison to the first game. The sequel's story is like an extremely bad SCP deviantart fanfic. Then the lore of course runs everything into the ground from the first game to the second. Also this is followed by Retcon after Retcon after Retcon.
>The crushing and brooding atmosphere is pretty much gone from the first game
>The game is way easier than the first
>Extremely toxic, volatile and hostile community that has no problem threatening you on your playstyle or builds for characters. You better be playing on Monsoon or else they'll hound you to no end and think them playing a higher difficulty makes them better than you. Make sure to protect yourself by saying how much you hate Rex and censoring any scores that you have.

Outside of that? Yeah, I do of course recommend this game. It may seem like the bad may outweigh the good, but I've been having too much fun with friends for me to really care.
