I'd give this game a neutral rating if I could, a 2.5 stars if you would.
From what I've played of it, this game really could have been something real, something big, something really good.
Unfortunately the bugs ruin this game. Specifically the fact that saves are effectively nonexistent. Re-entering a previous save file placed me in a blank void, effectively soft locking me and ruining the save file. Otherwise, the game has a random chance to completely forget your saves. You could open the game and see your save, close it and open it again, and it'll be gone.
This game could've been something.

I guess the true LISA: The Painful was the friends we killed along the way.

Early Access Review
One of THE best games I've ever played, even in Early Access and the instability it could still compete with AAA titles.
Fully 3D, hand crafted world in length and width with several beautiful biomes for you to eventually destroy with your automation.
I have no complaints aside from little things that are mostly around because of its early access status (although I'd personally ask for a built in peaceful mode, I'm here to build factories not fight monsters).
Automation is easy to grasp as long as you understand basic math. Much easier to figure out than Factorio, buildings have a specified input/output rate, along with having the advantage of a third dimension.
I've played 300 hours so far but I can bet you I'll end up wasting hundreds more.

$15 for a 3-4 hour game that's probably 65% cutscene, would not recommend solely for overpricing and lack of gameplay. The story is gripping and the gameplay can be challenging, but I just bought a $20 game with over triple the game time in one playthrough, not to mention various routes and endings and a higher gameplay-to-cutscene ratio.

!!!SPOILERS!!!
This game is a Psychological Horror disguised as a silly and fun 2D Turn-Based RPG. A portion of it reminds me of the Mother series of games, random and easy to get lost in and attached to, the other portion is what shows up as soon as you begin to forget that it is in fact a horror game.
The game is split into two sections, one being a funny and colorful Mindscape, while the other is the resulting real life of the person dreaming.
The dream space is a rather large world where you go around with your childhood friends, helping people, solving puzzles and completing quests, all while looking for your friend who up and disappeared with no trace.
The other half of the game is the player character's childhood neighborhood, having changed a lot in the 4 years that the protagonist has spent isolated in their mother's house. The friend group shown in the dreamscape has drifted apart after certain events nearly 4 years prior. It's your job to either accept reality and bring your friends together after being away for so long and to help your lost friend come back from the shared trauma, or to reject reality and eventually escape life in the only possible way while refusing to come to terms with repressed memories.
$20 for a game with multiple routes and endings, 13+ hours per playthrough, and various emotional attachments and breakdowns. I've paid triple for games with maybe double that time and no playthrough variation nor emotional attachment.

Early Access Review
With about two hours into the game (which I know is typically not enough time to have a meaningful opinion of the game, but I made the choice to refund it), I can't really say much other than the fact that it is still VERY early into production and not nearly done. A lot of things are still a WIP, even materials and items in the early game may not be entirely usable.
First things first, I'd like to warn anyone thinking about getting this game that it isn't necessarily one open world. Instead, upon receiving a set amount of materials, one can unlock grid-based sections of islands that can be traversed between through a portal. This is not mentioned in the game's description as far as I can tell.
There is a basic durability system for tools and vehicles, and you use currency to repair these items. Repairing an item this way permanently lowers its maximum durability and as far as I know there isn't a way to reverse this. Vehicles lose durability simply from being used, which takes a lot of fun out of riding anything.

My favorite game in the Fallout Series. Rich in story and possibilities, I've played this for as long as I can remember on various platforms and there's still so much I've yet to discover. A game with great characters and world building, highly recommended for people who enjoy FPSRPG's.
