I've decided to change my review from positive to negative.

Simply put, the game in co-op is completely unplayable.

The game functions on a simple basis, once you get to nightmare - your auto-save (or save frequency) is lowered to AFTER death nights, and you cannot manually save. This is a terrible experience as the game crashes so much. If you progress for 10-15 minutes, you have a chance of being set back that exact amount of time, at which point you may as well start a new game instead of re-playing the one you just played from your previous save point. Imagine building 30 different buildings, building your army up, progressing upgrades ONLY for it to be completely demolished at the whim of RNG whether you MAYBE crash or don't (top tip, 80% of the time you WILL crash)

Until the developers let us up the auto-save or manual save frequency for the game, or fix the crashes, this review will stay negative. It was positive once I first started playing the game, because the set-back would only be 3 minutes at most, which is manageable, although not preferred.

Please fix the crashes, or at least apply a band-aid fix until the crashes are fixed. Nightmare COOP is unplayable, and that's my main reason for playing the game.

Would I recommend this game? Yes. Simply put, it's very addicting and fun. But I want to voice my opinion and warn you if you wish to push to the highest depth this game offers, especially with friends. Once you experience nightmare, Horrific is a thing of the past. But it's impossible to practice nightmare or progress it if your game CONSTANTLY CRASHES.

Recommended for casual enjoyment or singleplayer: STRONG YES.
Recommended for people who want to push the hardest difficulties: NO. STRAY AWAY UNTIL THE DEVS FIX THE GAME.

Good game, don't listen to the ♥♥♥♥ community,

Endless hate, good devs - made a few mistakes but fixed them.

Enjoy it, paid or free - still a very enjoyable game I put hours into

All ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aside I want to discuss this game and its current issues.

Many of the negative reviews do come from Trolls and salty survival players, however some are legit with issues that should be reviewed and taken into account when buying this game.

The current glitches such as roof glitching, being able to jump through the side of the wall on one specific building should be addressed and there is no reason to defend this or say that it is acceptable. Cheaters are also frequently mentioned in negative reviews, to which I can say that it is heavily untrue. Yes, the anti-hack system may not be the best one to use but it is atleast something, I guess people do sometimes forget that this is an Alpha game and that this ♥♥♥♥ should be expected, however CSGO also suffers cheaters frequently and it isn't as disccused as it should be.

Microtransactions. Big topic of discussion for this game with many people saying that it is bad. I personally disagree, however for an Alpha game i guess you could say that it isn't acceptable. I think that it's fine because KotK would become boring very quickly if you could not change the look of your character, and many other games have the same model of pay to play and microtransactions. One big one would be CSGO. (If they did not introduce skins the game would be dead).

Splitting the game is a very greedy move which I can agree with, However we can't say for sure whether it was a bad decision yet or not. They handled the split very well with a few issues such as server lag, which was fixed rather quickly as soon as the team got back to fixing it. I've never split a game before so I can't comment correctly, but I'm guessing it must be a very hard thing to do.

We are soon getting a new map and new gamemode for KotK, which is going to be pushed out on the 25th this month, which I am very excited for and can't wait to play, as the old map definitely needed work on it. And hopefully with the new map they fix all the bugs and glitches which the current one has.

I very much enjoy this game because it is a test of skill, and winning is very enjoyable as you do receive a free admission to the gamemode which is currently active, Although i think they should rework the current reward system.

If you want my view on any other things, or want to discuss something about my opinions, feel free to leave a comment below why you disagree or why you agree.
Mindlessly downvoting this review will just go on to prove the salty and trolly nature of reviewers for this current game.

Thanks :)

I would also like to mention that the H1Z1 youtube channel frequently uploads current changes to the game and really does connect with the community through their /r/H1Z1 subreddit. Saying that they don't is a blatant lie.

Every game has microtransactions so what people are saying is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Just because you can buy keys for skins doesn't mean you have to, besides all the "P2W" rewards you can get free, and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ airdrop isn't much of a gamechanger either.

Give daybreak a chance, this game is excellent and fun to play and i sincerely hope that splitting the game will help production-wise, both for survival and for battle royale.
