I have enjoyed many of the From Software titles. Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Dark Souls etc...

These games all offer a spin on a formula that is fun, engaging and intriguing.

Elden Ring Nightreign is not those games, and that's a good thing.

My main gripe with the aforementioned titles was always the lackluster multiplayer experience. A convoluted and, at times, completely broken multiplayer system made teaming up with friends a hassle not worth the time.

Nightreign is here to change that.

A fast paced, PvE battle royale style of game, set in the Elden Ring universe, gives players like me, who just want to hop on and play a few rounds with friends, that experience.

Levelling up, defeating bosses and equipping new gear is an addictive gameplay cycle. The excellent combat present in Elden Ring translates well into this new game, with some adjustments made to increase the pace and variety of combat.

This will not be a game of grand exploration, slow character building and banging your head against the same boss over again. Don't go into this expecting the traditional Fromsoft experience.

If you're looking for a challenging, combat focused multiplayer experience, this game will satisfy.

Helldivers 2 is the best game I have played in literally years.

Over the past year of playing, I have enjoyed countless hours of fun. Helldivers 2 has satisfying gameplay, a positive, active community and a responsive dev team.

In Helldivers 2, you will find yourself facing down a war on three fronts, alongside your comrades. Participate by dropping into misssions, completing objectives and extracting.

Each faction has a unique play style, making many different weapons and strategems viable. Bugs will require you to utilise crowd control, Bots will present you with enemies that are armed to the teeth, and the squids provide a nice mixture of the two.

Strategems are the highlight of gameplay. Call in airstrikes, orbital bombardments, lasers, napalm, mech suits etc etc. It is an exhaustive armoury.

This galactic war is orchestrated by the developers, who introduce new orders that help the player base focus on a certain objective. This has created an engaging narrative that is shaped by the collective actions of the player base.

So far, this has all culminated in the battle for Super Earth, the home of the Helldivers. It has been a fantastic update and a fun community event to be a part of.

Get this game.

I think I have enough hours in the game now in order to give it a fair shake...

-Summary-
Kerbal Space Program is a game about the construction of rockets, planes, and whatever else it is your mind can concoct. It uses a model of real world physics in order to teach the player about aerodynamics, orbital mechanics, rocket construction etc...

This game has an incredibly steep learning curve. If you do not want to toil for hours over accomplishing something that other players can do with their eyes closed, then this is not the game for you. If you don't mind facing the multitude of challenges and learning experiences this game will throw at you, then I heartily recommend it. Kerbal Space Program is the best example of an educational game that puts fun first. You will learn so much cool stuff just by playing.

The game is extremely moddable, thus making it an extremely customisable experience. Players who love to obsess over the performance of their crafts will enjoy Kerbal Engineer, others might like the graphical improvements using scatterer. The most hardcore of players may be drawn to the Realism Overhaul pack. Point is, there's a mod out there for everyone.

KSP also has a wonderful community surrounding it. There's such a variety of people playing and sharing their love for the game and the aerospace field. There's always people to meet and learn from. Perhaps you'll pick up a thing or two that you can pass on to new players.

I love this game. It's charming, educational and fun. You'll learn awesome stuff and meet awesome people. Just be wary of the Kraken...
