Abysmal from the beginning to the very end, pure garbage.
Gameplay loop: walk 1000 meters from one point to another, find item, go back and turn in the quest. do it again 15 times and game is over.
98% of playtime is walking in a boring open world, you can explore and find random buildings but its all completely useless, every encounter or a detour leaves you with less than you had or exactly the same. also game is completely beatable with any random melee weapon you find at any point of the game so everything is even more meaningless somehow.
Conclusion: very true to its name, this pile of sh*t is desolate in everything it tries, plain and boring combat, meaningless loot, """survival aspect""" (which drinking 20 bottles of water every hour or so), lame story.

Perfection, 10/10
Easily the best combat system in any game of the similar genre, nothing even gets slightly close to Nioh 2.
One of the most well designed and unique looking creatures, beautiful levels with great boss battles and awesome music, every aspect of Nioh is just perfect.

Improved version of the first game but still had some jankiness to it, was fun in co-op, not much else to say

Writing this review in consideration of the price this game had on a sale (which was only 60-80 cents) and after beating the entire campaign in 2 player co-op.
Every aspect of this game is broken or dysfunctional to some degree:
- movement, very slow and awkward, leaning gives you extra 10 millimeters of sight but locks you in a spot or you might even get stuck in a leaning position because of a bug and spend next 2 minutes of your gameplay as a child with scoliosis.
- weapons, there's a very little choice with what you can use, some of them do feel surprisingly nice. not much to be said.
- audio, guns randomly stop making any noise so you might die to a silent ak, you can't hear enemy footsteps most of the time even when they're running. ambient noises are okay and some weapons sound pretty good if they do work properly.
- ai, arguably the worst and the most broken part of Takedown, some of them are completely braindead where they will look you in the eye, walk past you, start spinning and miss everything. some of them are like cs:go cheaters and instantly beam you as soon as you show them 1 pixel of your character from the most devious angle, even if they were facing in a different direction, even if you were crouching the whole time and using a silencer, you're gonna die.
- stages, somehow very cool, its enjoyable learning them and possible enemy locations you'll be clearing.
- technical issues, couldn't play co-op with a friend without simulating LAN through an external software, alt-tabbing out of a game caused a horrible crash once where even rebooting the computer wouldn't stop the running process and i had to restart windows in a safemode to finally get rid of it, but if you don't alt-tab there are no major issues.

After all that i'm still recommending this pile of ♥♥♥♥. its unintentional difficulty made it very fun and also funny. beating the most awful mission after 2 days of replaying it felt amazing. again, the challenge comes from all the wrong reasons but somehow it can be satisfying. i think we got more than 60 cents worth of fun from here.

Game starts by being extremely messy and overwhelming, bunch of weapons, materials and skills to upgrade thrown at you with barely any explanation. this confusion also spreads to the level design on most missions, stages and enemy placement on them feel completely random, traversing areas is just annoying. story feels like they've only spent 25 minutes on writing it, only time you're not gonna want to skip a cutscene is when ugliness of a character hypnotizes you.
appeal of Shadow Warrior 2 is a simple loop of getting a better weapon and seeing bigger numbers on your screen and that's basically only force that's going to be moving you forward to finish the campaign, grind for a better gear. its built around a replay value but gameplay doesn't give you any satisfaction so it seems unimaginable to me to go for a ng+. (game beaten on "no pain no gain" difficulty)
on top of all that, technical issues made it even more annoying, frequent crashes, disconnections, co-op mission once failed to reward both players, overall not a pleasant experience.
good things about this game are weapon designs, they mostly look very cool, some areas are nice to look at and menu theme goes pretty hard.
it was still fun to play with a friend but i can't let co-op enjoyment blind my judgement here, SW2 is a true abysmal dogs**t.

What a masterclass in hack and slash genre and in DMC series, hated in its era due to peoples fear of new things.
DmC Devil May Cry is incredibly stylish in everything it tries, maps feel alive, the way environment changes and interacts with the player is cool as ♥♥♥♥, music choices are absolute bangers right from the very first level. highly energetic gameplay, doing combos and killing demons never felt this satisfying before, combat feels extra gory and fast paced.
remember to enjoy the reboot as a new thing or an alternate reality and don't compare it to the main storyline and you will love all of it, characters, story and edginess of the whole thing.

Good game, shooting feels very satisfying, exploration is always rewarding and fun, locations look great but the reused chunks in some areas make them look uninspired sometimes, the way co-op works is actually perfect, its seamless throughout the entire game and loot is always shared between the players. DLC project 2923 added an entire new campaign that might just be better than the main game especially with the boss designs, killing Harsgaard hitless on Nightmare difficulty felt incredibly good.
only negative thing i would say is this game focuses on replayability way too much and for that it doesn't have nearly enough content, not that many weapons and armor sets, maps are pretty straight forward to the point where it feels impossible to miss the optional content.

Review based on my personal opinion.
One of the very few games i couldn't finish because of how boring it is, but it is also clear to me why it's so loved.
Here's why i'm not recommending this game to people with similar taste as mine: solving a murder felt like a sub-plot, political problems game talks about are the ones i simply couldn't care less about, moral questions it asks are uninteresting and feel meaningless. it basically felt like reading an uninteresting book most of the time. however, if you're into topics mentioned above, this point of mine is completely meaningless to you and you'll most likely enjoy the game.
now more objectively written review of "Disco Elysium": dialogues are very well written, monologues are great, voice acting is near perfect, visual style is undeniably beautiful and it feels even better combined with an ambient music which creates a very unique atmosphere. way your character observes the surroundings, how his inner voices interact with each other and the player, interactions with other NPCs are all extraordinary.

perfect example of modern ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ millennial writing, gameplay is nothing original or special, the world itself is modified FC5 map and it looks beautiful. would recommend to get it on a sale for 5$ and play it with a friend because writing is so bad it gets funny, but do NOT play this without co-op as it would be incredibly dull and boring.
P.S if you want to play with a friend you might need to install a "disable high ping kick" mod. i dont know why this feature was added as its completely useless and my friend didnt even have high ping

Main game: It's alright, there are some severe downgrades compared to other far cry games, characters are all badly written, proper progression and balance systems basically don't exist. But there's also a big upgrade, FC5 is fully playable in co-op which is a major factor for me, especially when everything is so goofy it gets very enjoyable with a friend. Changing map to a Montana was an interesting choice, everything looks beautiful (when its not hidden by abysmal HUD and markers everywhere)

DLC Dead living zombies: Had some good ideas but ended up being disappointing, basically just 5 short stories all of which together give you less than an hour playtime.

DLC Lost on mars: It's cool at first because new weapons, progressions and gameplay mechanic changes make it feel fresh, but gets very repetitive quickly because you just do same 3 things for around 4 hours.

DLC Hours of darkness: This is Ubisofts reminder that they can in fact make good things if they didn't hate us. everything about it is peak far cry but set in Vietnam. Sadly only lasts for around 1:30 hours even if you do most of the side objectives
