Fantastic game, some things are hidden way to much to the point where you need to get lucky and accidentally click on it, but other than that everything was done very nicely, loved the cool mechanisms, original puzzles and overall satisfying design choices.

Ideal first person survival-horror, doesn’t get stale no matter how deep in the story you’re in, even if you’re jaded and dulled from other games, re7 will still offer you incredibly interesting story and atmosphere, if you like the genre I don’t think you can find anything better than this. (I highly recommend you get the early madhouse unlock DLC and play it on that difficulty for the first time)
Banned footage Vol.1 & Vol.2:
nightmare (Night Terror) – nothing really notable, just survival mini-game with its main aspect being resource management.
Bedroom – one of my favorite DLCs, short but almost scarier than the main game, its main activity is solving puzzles which I think everyone would enjoy.
21 (survival, survival+) – I’d buy this if it was a separate game, didn’t know blackjack could be this fun with addition of trump cards and torture to its recipe.
Daughters – Short story (with two endings) that shows you beginnings of bakers infestation. No new addition to the gameplay, basically just a cutscene with one or two simple puzzles.
Ethan must die – at first it looked impossible, very frustrating and unfair, but once you realize there’s a trick to every deviously placed trap and enemy it becomes very enjoyable and quite easy. I definitely recommend this one if you like pushing yourself through hard challenges.
Jack’s 55th Birthday – only DLC that I didn’t enjoy almost at all. You have to learn best paths to take with some trial and error and bring food back to jack in time. Challenge being timer and limited inventory.
End of Zoe: entirely new gameplay mechanics and weapons, easily the best DLC. Play as joe baker who is apparently the strongest human being on earth who can smash through walls and any type of mutated monsters, walk through swamps infested with molded crocodiles to save his niece.
Not A Hero: second best DLC, if you liked playing against Lucas in the Testing area. Play as Ethan with umbrellas equipment in a new area hidden in the salt mines.

Very good, intriguing story that does not shy away from material that might be considered a taboo, constantly keeps you on your toes (which feels annoying sometimes), interesting atmosphere, well designed bosses. overall, great horror game.

Fantastic horror experience, very atmospheric and immersive. you get intrigued to know the story behind every lunatic who wants to torture you.

its always very fun to beat, decapitate, kick around some zombies, especially when you have variety of weapons and styles. gameplay is satisfying.
definitive edition graphical improvement is very noticeable, jungle area looks fantastic.

some cons: has minor bugs, sometimes you might bump into your buddy in co-op and instakill them, you can't look behind you while driving, money is duped when both players take it from the same source, weapons deteriorate way too fast, can't disable autoaim.

If you like JBA and fighting games, i highly recommend this.
my favorite thing about all-star battle R is how unique each character feels, they have their own identities and game changing abilities like stopping time, removing seconds from the timer and etc. also you don't have to be very experienced or skilled at fighting games because mechanics are somewhat simple, building your own combos is very easy and satisfying (disable combo assists to deal more damage and learn the game better)

main issue i have so far is stuttering. despite easily meeting the requirements my fps will randomly drop heavily and game goes into slow motion. also netcode is horrible so if you're getting this for online matchmaking experience then you won't be having much fun (unless you're playing with a friend who doesn't live on another continent)
