Single player is about what you would expect, a decent MK story with a set of twists and turns. Old faces and new. The "stance" system isn't entirely new to fighters but MK uses it somewhat well. I would have preferred if it was something you could change mid fight.

Online however has a handful of issues, including some shoddy netcode. They released a large update to fix this for consoles, along with new content, but have given up on the PC side of things. If you have a console you would be much better suited to pick up this title for it instead of on PC.
