2d dark souls dominated by roll spam bosses, not difficult just tedious, huge disappointment

Personally I couldn't really get into Hydroneer when I tried it a couple of years back, figured I'd come back and give the dlc a try.... and personally I find the dlc to be a much better experience overall.

Fun little time waster, but I personally didnt find a lot of replayability in it, managed to get upto nightmare 400 in just a couple days of playtime once I figured out what works and what doesnt. Pretty easy even on nightmare once you start scaling; and get over the early/mid-game hump. Eventually once you max out your mod's at 255, theres only two mod's that will continue to increase damage. So not entirely certain how far you could go but.... I was at 4m global damage and 3.5m crit damage when I stopped my nightmare run, with a rocket launcher.

Mediocrity thy name is starfield... its more a loading screen simulator than a game, nothing new, the space aspect is minimal and 100% on rails. Planets are barren with the same dozenish tilesets used everywhere. Gunplay is...... mediocre. Story is atrocious and characters are 2 dimensional at best. Nothing redeeming about this, maybe mods will save it.

I wont lie and tell you its the best game ever, but I'm loving it and its getting constant patches and updates, is easily moddable by the community, and has room for some pretty stellar growth.

The in game "rpg" skills are supremely overpowered, you can easily from the get go beat the game with no shots fired using skills only. The fps mechanics that are there are mediocre in the extreme. It goes from mobs either not hitting you at all over 10 feet away or one shotting you if your 3 feet away, fairly broken. In game weapons are of very limited utility in all aspects compared to skills. Storyline is stilted and reused. The in game "quests" feel more like a chore and I spend more time running than I do fighting, just oneshotting everything with my skills. Styling with the black and white is ok... but..... again nothing to write home about.

This is one of those games that I really desperately want to love and I see the vision the developers were aiming for but, sadly, they fell quite short of reaching it.

After many years, and many hours, this game still has staying power, cant beat loading up tf2 for some quick, fun multiplayer action.
