I really enjoyed this game. The acting in this game is way better than any movie or TV show that has come out within the past five years. Although I understand that everyone has their own political views, I feel the game did a phenomenal job explaining the political morals of the game.

This is a very solid game for what it is but unfortunately suffers from a lack of variety or content.

Having said that, as you can probably tell, I still recommend this game.

The artstyle and characters are charming and unique, and the worldbuilding is fun and engaging. The items that do exist are good and help to shake the game up a little bit. The progression feels nice, and the pacing is good. Everything about this game is solid.

If you're hoping to have a game you can keep playing over and over for hours and never get bored, though, this unfortunately is not it. It lacks the it factor that a game like Binding of Isaac has. The variety is just a little to constrained, the enemies just a little to predictable. If I could completely change weapons, there were more kinds of hooks, anything like this would have gone a long way towards replayability. And enemies only have one kind of elite, kind of like the Jammed in Enter The Gungeon. If there were more kinds of enemies to give you some variety and break up the monotony that also would have helped.

Overall, it's a very good game, but I would treat it more like a story game than a true roguelike. Which is unfortunate, because i followed this game since early development.

10/10, they added the ability to use elf bones

An incredible execution of the roguelike card game genre. Perfectly blends poker and roguelike action into an engaging, enjoyable and replayable experience. This is an all-time entry in the category as far as I'm concerned. 10/10

I used to really enjoy this game back when it was in early access. It seems the developers have taken a new direction with the game and it's not even recognizable as the same game anymore.

It used to be a cool diablo-like roguelike, but apparently the developers didn't feel like they were making enough money off of that and decided to stuff it with microtransactions.

Until the developers reverse course and start improving things, I don't think I can recommend this game to anyone in good conscience.

Card daddy made a new game and this time there's Spidermen

This game combines two of my favorite things; Harvest Moon style farming sims and procedural roguelikes with a permanent progression system.

Highly recommend, possibly my favorite roguelike I've found.

Great game, will always leave you wanting to come back for more. And with the addition of daily challenges with Afterbirth, you have a reason to come back every day.
