This patch has broken so much of the game its unbelievable.
They tied the physics engine to the frame rate. Added bizarre elites that seem to kill you randomly. The new bosses beam attack is doing damage ticks per frame. There is also the terrible audio bugs that create this horrible warbling sound.
The new additions are nice but these bugs are terrible.
Fix them please.

This game feels like i am playing a flashbang.
I love it.

A very interesting idea for the game however with the current price tag its not worth it grab this game if you get it on a heavy sale or through one of the bundles.

another problem the game has is that the game is incredibly lacking in both content and explanation, nothing is explained to you and the only things that are explained by small tips ingame.

overall this game has plently of potential but the combination of a lack of content, playerbase, and explanation as to what you are supposed to do removes alot from the games worth.

HOUSE OF GOD is a nice 5$ hotline miami-esk game with lots of nice little item combinations.
if it was more then 5$ i would not recommend this game as it is very short only about 10 minutes for a completed run i would expect it to be even faster if you had good rng or great skills.
but considering its price it is a fun little game to play if you got money to spare

The game has recently had an update that changed the game a very large amount but this new update has added a lot of new features and the dev is extremely active despite the long gaps between updates.

This game is by and far one of the best shooters I have ever played the guns feel meaty, the combat requires you to think and prioritize which demons you shoot first and with what weapon.
The soundtrack in this game is also perfectly suited for what the game shows.
The games atmosphere is also unlike any game that i have played before making you feel as if you are in hell with the fire, blood and corpses.
The only downside that i can think of is the multiplayer and even then its enjoyable for small bursts but does not work in long sessions.
overall the game is a 9/10

The most calming and beautiful games I have ever played.
