Great game and hilarious cutscenes. Fun to play and find all things in each level.

Now a poem to talk about the darker exploits of this game which many people have wanted in a star wars game for a long time

Roses are red, Violets are blue
Master Skywalker there are too many of them what are we going to do.

Slashing younglings with a lightsaber. Order 66 re-enactments have arrived

Ignore whoever tries to defend this and talk about ''negative Redditor/Discord reviewers bombardement''

It has been confirmed the game was intended to be a BR, but somewhere along the line (my bet is start of 2021 seeing the state) they decided to completely overhaul that again and go back to their BF roots failing miserably in the process.

Why change a winning plan DICE. You have single handedly killed this. You even got people from other games dev teams including Star wars Battlefront 2. And you take inspiration from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CoD and Apex, are you mental?

The guy that fixed the Bf4 netcode, you remember that legend right. He won't do it for Bf2042. I don't know his personal reasoning, he send out a message about it, but all I can think off is the guy got a near heart attack when he saw the state of Bf2042

The attachments are a hilarious joke aswell.

The weapon attachments variety is literally a middle schooler copy pasting wikipedia for his homework. They grabbed 1 silencer and Ctrl C Ctrl V'd it. same for muzzle brakes, compensators, etc.

I feel there is a bigger variety of Sights/Scopes then there are weapons in the game

Ye people are copy pasting lists of things that are missing, I would do the same having seen the state how they intend to release it.

This is as barren as it can get, vehicles dominate the game, weapon balance is so far away from this game I'd expect it to be near the hello kitty paradise island franchise thats how far away it is.

The most fun I have is getting in a hovercraft and surfing the sides of buildings (Yes, you can drive up buildings with a Hovercraft.) Also fly with it for sometimes long moments when using a high building or even halfway to fully across the map.

But anyways here's the list people have been posting of things that are missing.

Missing Core Features
> No standard server browser
> Fewer standardized game modes
> Fewer base game maps than any other title. (even including portal the map count is only 13)
> No persistent lobbies. You have to matchmake after EVERY round
> Fewer in-game assignments None outside of cosmetic unlocks
> Less character customization options (than BF5)
> No profile progress/stats page in the menu
> No battle log/stats tracker for other players
> No global leaderboards
> No end of round assignment progress screen
> No custom emblems
> Fewer achievements
> No medals
> No swelling crescendo of dramatic music near the end of a match. Static Noise does not count
> Less destruction
> Only a small handful of destructible buildings on each map
> No map altering levolution
> No spectator mode
> No permanent community servers (would be useful for clans and events)

Missing from Infantry Gameplay
> Fewer guns. Even including all the portal guns, BF4 still had more at launch
> Fewer infantry gadgets
> No manual leaning
> No diving while swimming
> No high wall vaulting
> No crouch sprinting
> No backwards prone
> No explosion knockback
> No rolling after falling from heights
> No ammo or health pickup off teammates
> No scope zeroing
> No thermal optics
> No indirect fire gadgets
> Less anti-tank launchers
> No lock-on launchers. The M5 works with the SOFLAM but that requires 2 people
> No AP mines/claymores
> No static weapon emplacements
> No fortification building
> No resupply stations
> No suppression mechanic. This one I don't mind but it was a staple and now it is gone

Missing from Vehicles
> Fewer vehicle types. Separate vehicle progression per faction even though they are functionally identical.
> No naval vehicles Except I guess the hovercraft technically
> No vehicle gunner direction indicator
> No lock on direction indicator
> No vehicle enter/exit animations
> No tank turret decoupling. This was in BF4
> Less vehicle driver/pilot customization options
> No tank zoom customization options
> No tank gunner customization options
> No helicopter gunner secondary weapons
> No separate helicopter/fixed-wing controls
> No control input while looking behind/free looking in aircraft

Missing from Scoring System
> No squad wipe scoring
> No player damage points
> No vehicle damage points
> No vehicle kill assist points
> No headshot bonus
> No long-range kill bonus
> No assist counts as kill bonus
> No squad objective play bonus
> Oversimplified teamplay scoring (i.e. healing a teammate always gives you +5xp rather than the amount of health you give)
> Squad and Teamwork
> No commander
> No special squad call-in abilities
> No squad field upgrades
> No in-game VOIP
> Fewer factions (with almost nothing to give the 2 factions any distinction)
> No cross-team chat
> No "create new squad" option
> No "promote to squad leader" option
> No clans
> No view of squadmates while in the spawn screen
> No "Medic incoming" indicator in downed state
> No rank names/icons, just a number.

Missing from UI and Quality of Life
> Less control customization options
> Less UI customization options
> No HUD/icon opacity customization
> No HUD scaling customization options
> No gunsight reticle customization options
> No network performance graph
> No individual player scoreboard
> Less detail in the 'who killed you' screen
> No ultrawide monitor support
> Cannot move UI elements to suit screen size
> Very poor friend joining system

BROKEN
> 45 tick rate servers
> Rubberbanding
> Deploy bugs, revive bugs
> Downed state bug that prevents you from respawning if you clip through anything
> Janky animations
> Performance is horrible on PC. Unplayable framerates from what looks like CPU bottlenecking
> Unlock three different silencers for the same weapon that have no effect on the stats of the weapon
> Exact same attachment on two different guns having an opposite effect
> Hovercrafts are able to scale vertical surfaces, as well as fly in the right circumstances.
> In rare cases, a player will become unable to damage enemies. This player will also lose their nameplate, causing them to appear as hostile to allies. This is fixed by dying and respawning.
> Bullet Registration
> Weapon Balance
> Vehicle Balance

When optimized it can be a great game. Ports are always a 50/50 wether your pc gets issues or not

Ignore all the negative reviews where they talk about using Mouse + Keyboard, everyone that ever played flying games knows controllers or joysticks are the way.

EDIT: I would also say mass refund this empty esport intentional husk of a game.

0 new modes or DLC will come in the future. this is how the game stays forever.

5v5 space battles. I'd suggest trying 2005's battlefront 2 or EA's battlefront 2, there's more stuff in the space battles of those 2 games then this one.

Played it sometimes in the alpha etc, Mostly with a friend (thats the most fun).

The games come a long ways. I still fully recommend this game. It's great, they keep adding more, but it's not just a barrage of cosmetics they keep adding.

They are adding what I call ''Motivational content''. Content that motivates you to play more and unlock all that while having fun and not feel like getting bored on the journey. (new weapons, upgrades, etc)

Every level gives a feeling of wanting to explore alot in order to find those hidden secrets also.

I hope they release more games in the future. This is a great team

I like everything about this game even though I seen dbz countless times.

What I would really love to see is for them to make the ''dragon ball'' story in a game.

From kid goku being found by Gohan all the way to the end where dragonball Z and the raditz saga starts. Theres so much content to use from that. They got 153 episodes of it including movies content.

9 years have I waited for a star wars game that is actually a decent optimized game ''from the start not after 2 years''.

This is a chapter I needed to see how the transitioning from former Galactic Republic to Imperial Empire progresses. Which is shown in it's very first mission when you see At-St's patrol a scrapyard area filled with Galactic Republic ships ready to be disassembled for it's metals/parts including a small nostalgic ship.

The background scenery and the details of planets environments is breathtakingly good.

The puzzles are very good, not too hard and not too easy, the usage of force powers in these puzzles work only for the better and give it that extra thought to some combo's.

The combat is for non dark souls players a little learning step to acknowledging that even though you got a lightsaber you cannot just rambo in a group slashing nonstop, this ain't the force unleashed.
Enemies all having it's own pro's and cons for people to figure out.

If you also waited 9 years for a star wars game to be released that doesn't take 2 years to fix itself, then you came to the right adress. Now look at those stormtroopers and repeat after me. F#*% order 66, it's time for episode 3.5, revenge of the jedi

Fun game. Same principle as World Of Warships etc but way more exciting, in space and with imo a higher level of strategy then those other versions

I noticed this game doesn't focus as much as other F2P games do when it comes to the money side of things, the pay2win side. The DLC packs for Tier4 ships you can unlock yourself aswell by playing ingame, the fast paced matches make you forget you spend lots of time grinding for a certain ship.

I played this about 2 years ago in some early test, and this game just got improved so much more

Early Access Review
Was farming to continue my base, Suddenly 4 people came out of bushes around me like ninjas. They told me to freeze. I screamed to them I got the Death Star plans and you will all die, they suddenly ran away screaming don't kill us.

8/10 due to rubber banding, would try it again
