the developer continues to support this game years after their disastrous launch and the free updates have improved this game to the point where it pretty much meets their original goals

Great free to play shooter, with developers that generally listen to the feedback from their player base and is updated quite often. Can be a bit grindy and the new player experience isn't that great, but once you make it past that hill, it is pretty rewarding.
