I find myself at a loss for words as I start this review. This game warrants so much more than a mere "buy it now", that would be a grave injustice to the masterpiece that it truly is. To label it as just "good" would be akin to referring to the Mona Lisa as a mere doodle. This is an experience that transcends the ordinary, a labor of love and brilliance that towers over most contemporary releases.

It encompasses everything: intricately crafted characters who are more than mere pixels or lines of code, each one possesses unique quirks, secrets, and distinct personalities. Despite the multitude of games I’ve experienced, so many that I’ve become desensitized to character development and emotional moments. This one pierced through that barrier. It resonated with me so profoundly that I lost sight of the fact that I was playing a game.

And let’s not overlook the music. Toby Fox is nothing short of a musical wizard. I’ve immersed myself in over 3,000 hours of his compositions, and they never lose their charm. The melodies are ageless. The way familiar motifs reverberate across different tracks, sneaking into your consciousness and entwining with your emotions, it’s pure genius. Each time I encounter a new piece and that one familiar motif emerges unexpectedly, it’s as if my mind melts in the most delightful way.

Then there’s the core of the experience: the narrative. It’s intricately crafted, rich with depth and surprise. You think you have it figured out, only for it to twist back on itself with newfound significance. Every plot twist feels deliberate. Every nuance is significant. Shakespeare's works seem like the scrawls of a gifted child when placed alongside the emotional depth and narrative artistry presented here.

Especially with the lengthy intervals between chapter releases, this experience has evolved into more than just a game for me. It’s a companion through the passage of time. I’ve woven it into the fabric of my life.

So the moment your Steam wallet has enough KROMER, don’t even hesitate. Buy it instantly. Let it ruin other games for you, in the best possible way.

Early Access Review
If you just came here for the funny: Holy hell, it's the 100% real no fake fent-core game.

If you came here for a (Semi)Actual Review:

So far I've only put about 40 hours into this absolute masterpiece, and I’ve loved every second of it—even though I don’t typically enjoy boomer shooters. Whether I was practicing Cybergrind runs, smashing my head against the keyboard trying to P-rank every level, or experiencing 12 mini heart attacks per second while fighting the Prime Souls, I was always having fun. Any plans I had for the day? Gone. Ultrakilled.

No other game delivers this level of pure, unadulterated adrenaline. As the great philosopher Jermany "Sus Guy" Elbertson once said, "Humans were not supposed to be doing this." And he couldn’t have been more right. The only way to fully succeed is to let muscle memory take over, let your brain switch off, and watch in awe as you easily tear through all enemies hell can conjure—while you look like an absolute psycho doing it.

And don’t even get me started on the new Encore levels and level reworks.

10/10 game. Would ULTRAKILL again.

Killing eldritch gods with nuclear weapons is always a viable option.

This game is exactly what it says; it is a collection of mazes (in brown color). And as expected, it will change your life (probably). The music is fantastic and relaxing, except when it is not. But in all seriousness, it is good for achievements, and that is all.

This game is truly a short, but amazing experience. Also, it has hidden shrimp, which is a 10/10 in my book.

This game is like onions; it has layers. In fact, there are so many frog layers that I want to cry, from how beautiful this game is.
A complete life changer, would recommend.

Actually amazing. Liked the game even in its release state, but the devs did an amazing job with the updates and now it is fully worth the price.
