I love Halo, it's just such an amazing game to play, to experience, to remember. Halo to me is a comfort game which never lost it's spark, from console to PC. That being said, 343 industries should be tried for crimes against humanity. Not the poor souls working on textures and sound, nah, the writers, the leads, the director, I hope you lose your jobs and can't even get part time at your local McDonalds. What you did to Halo, I hope happens to you bud.

I like the concept, and the visuals are good, but the difficulty spike hits you like hitting a brick wall at 90 miles an hour. You can go from managing your gear and scaling well to getting 2-3 shot by the first same looking goblin from the previous levels just as you kill the first boss. And yes, you can level up the same character over and over, and get better gear, and maybe drop some gear down to the starting level, so when you get killed you can have a faster way of catching up to where you were before, it doesn't really matter, you'll be doing that, for hours, and every time you die you lose 25% of your stats, grind 20 hours, get really strong and bam, yer done, ♥♥♥♥ your progress and time spent. You can argue that I'm not "hardcore" enough for this game but I'd argue I got ♥♥♥♥ to do and I hate wasting hours resetting progress. I tried it, I wanted to like it, but nah. Great concept, ♥♥♥♥ execution.

Grand Theft Auto meets diet Project Zomboid. I love it, it's great. Having played the first, this game is a huge improvement to an already vast, jam-packed foundation. It has enough randomly generated stuff to always keep it fairly fresh. Plus huge maps, characters are different with their own little backstories and aesthetics, do's and don'ts, a huge arsenal, etc. It's a punishing game, and it reminds you of that if you're too gung ho. SoD2 is packed with so much content, you'll never go wanting. So if you're looking for a singleplayer, open world, zombie survival action game, this is one of few worth trying.

Great on it's own, a legend when modded.

It's ♥♥♥♥. The concept is amazing on paper, and screenshots can look great, but outside of playing coop, the fun dies off pretty fast. But that's not really the bad part, the game is still horribly unoptimized, takes the piss outta most systems you'll run it on. If it's not the frame rate, it's just ark trying to start a immersive campfire with your GPU, if it's not that it's the fact that the game will install ALL your DLC, even the ♥♥♥♥ you didn't buy, right alongside the base game, which ends up at around 128 gigs of used hard disk space. Now I know, sounds great, free DLC. Yeah, nah. You can't play it, you gotta buy the DLC so you can ''unlock it'', so you can play it. And God forbid you go asking for help about the game, how to optimize it or how to do this or that, 'cause you'll have the most repulsive and condescending encounter with armchair bound lifeforms that you will literally need a hot shower afterwards, just to scrub the filth they manage to spew in their, ''This game is perfect you're just bad cause you don't have 5000 hours'' type replies.

In short, ♥♥♥♥ game, take your money somewhere else.

This game is far better than any anime WW2 game has the right to be. The art style is amazing, music is surprisingly good and over all it's just a pleasure to play. Try it, love it, and then spend 2 hours arguing with your friends on discord about which shocktrooper makes the best waifu.

This is the only other game outside of the Witcher 3 that has made me loose track of time while playing, that's amazing.
