Seekers of the storm is a staggeringly unpolished dlc that was released together with a patch that left the game in a partially unplayable state. Several of the already existing survivors have been broken by the patch and the ones that released together with the dlc itself feel vastly inferior and unpolished when compared to the ones made by Hopoo.
The DLC bossfight and ending feel badly integrated with the pre-existing gameplay loop, with the bossfight itself happening much too early into the run and stage that the boss is located in being borderline impossible to traverse with certain survivors. While there are a few fun and decently usable items added by the dlc they are overshadowed by several awful item additions that range from overpowered to completely worthless to genuinely detrimental. The stages added by Seekers of the Storm are mostly visually appealing, though the constant presence of redundant invisible barriers and terrain that lacks collision makes them feel out of place when compared to the well polished pre-existing stages. This is especially detrimental when playing a high mobility survivor like Loader who loses important grapple points and so on. Some of the maps also feel oddly sized, with some being much to small for the stage they are found on.
All of my issues listed above are just general problems I have with the DLC, it doesn't even scratch the surface of the baffling quantity of gamebreaking bugs that the update that came with the DLC introduced to a perfectly functional game, but there are plenty of other steam reviews listing those out. Gearbox have no excuse to have released a DLC in this state, especially considering they revealed the release date only last week. This leads me to the obvious conclusion that, even though they were aware of the state of the content they were releasing for the game and there was time pressure put on them by a pre-revealed release date gearbox still chose to release this 15$ expansion as is. This is generally unacceptable behaviour and I cannot recommend Seekers of the Storm, or any product developed by Gearbox Software for that matter, with a clear conscience. As it stands you can save your 10$ and buy only the dlc soundtrack, which happens to be the only worthwhile part of the experience

Incredible, highly recommended! One of the best ways to kill a few hours with friends, I would genuinely pay money for it if I could.
Just remember to bring friends.
PS: Nerf greed.
