Well, if there is one game that simulates the life of a fastfood worker rather well, it's probably this one. Tedious and repetitive tasks, customers without patience, and someone from management who never shows his face ordering you to change up stuff every few days for no good reason. Things people working in the fastfood industry probably don't get in real life: betting on how many happy customers they can serve in a day, dating other fastfood workers through your inbox, quite bothersome safety inspections and $300 a day in profits.

Sadly enough, neither the realistic parts nor the additions are all that interesting. Timewaster with very slow progression. Keep working, keep getting achievements, spend money on recipes and upgrades, and other not so interesting stuff.

Maybe the boss fight at the end is superawesome. I wouldn't know. Can't be bothered to finish it.

It isn't that expensive, and it's definitely got hours and hours of gameplay. If you're into this kind of stuff, that is.

A simple game, but enough fun to buy it at its full price (because it's cheap). Pretty casual stuff, anyone should be able to play through this in a few hours. Except for the impossible level, which is literally impossible to get through. But fun fun fun.

Only downside to the game is that the multi-level provinces in the campaign always make you respawn at the first castle of the province. Thankfully, there aren't too may levels, but if you're stuck on the last castle, you get bothered by something as minor as this.

This game isn't gonna win an award anytime soon, but it's pretty good stuff, for a low price, and will probably run on any PC, no matter its specs.

The original Mafia was groundbreaking and (at the time) graphically astonishing. The sequel is equally gorgeous in graphical design. The game design, less so. What's the point of an open-world game if all missions are as linear as they come and deviations equal a failed mission? And then there are the tons and tons of unpatched bugs. Having to replay all the boring driving missions because a door won't open really isn't a selling point.

All in all, it's a beautiful game and it could be a top tier title, if it wasn't for all its shortcomings. I still feel like recommending it, although I wouldn't want anyone to pay more than a fiver for it.

Nostalgia is a funny thing. I remember AoE being the pinnacle of strategical games, with cutting-edge game mechanics, extremely well-balanced gameplay and superb graphics. But that was years ago. As such, I was only expecting to be disappointed by the graphics.

I was wrong. I finished the game, but I was quite disappointed in how easy it all was, how exploitable some mechanics were and how I was always sure of victory before even levelling the enemy town centre. This could be due to underwhelming adversary AI? Oddly enough, I remembered the AoE AI to be hardcore. Nostalgia played a trick on me.

In multiplayer, it just becomes obvious that exploitability is due to the game and not the adversary. Some units are useless, some units are garanteeing victory. Huge let-down.

Played out the entire game, but just because I was hoping for things to get better. They didn't. Poor storytelling, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ escort/protect missions, leveling up is limited and not always necessary, ....

I'd rather not played it again and kept it as a good memory.

Somehow I liked this game better than GTA. That's mostly due to the underwhelming GTA IV bit. But this game has what most big budget games lack: an exotic location, levelled personalities, a decent story and cultural input that isn't screaming 'U-S-A-U-S-A-U-S-A'. I'll admit the controls seem a bit wonky at first, the cars (especially the motorcycles, really) don't always handle well, and there are way too many senseless side-missions to partake in. But once the game sucked you in, you're being sucked properly. Driving on the left side of the road? Comes naturally. Learning Chinese swear words? Easy as pok gai.

This game offers both wonderful brawling (definitely once you level up and learn new moves) AND karaoke. It's like Tekken and Singstar had a baby and left it at John Woo's doorstep.

Bureaucracy becomes pretty exciting once you have a starving, sickly family waiting for you in a class-8 dwelling. You shouldn't look up anything about this game and just play it. It tells you more about your personality than you think it does. Are you a true politbureaucrat, a ruthless nazi, just playing it safe or do you actually have a heart underneath all that paperwork?

Who thought a game about stamping papers could be so intrinsically fun? I surely didn't.

This is Spinal Tap: The Videogame. But funnier. And better executed. Best intro ever, great storytelling, intuitive gameplay and a good soundtrack. I'm not even into metal and I'm loving this. If only all fantasy worlds were as awesome as this one...

More fun than Fallout 3. More of a true successor to the original Fallout series. Good fun.

Great story-driven RPG. Could do with more open-world, but the story and all the side-quests offer plenty to keep you captivated. Brilliant!

American supersoldiers kill the 5 or 6 weird TalibalQaeida enemies who keep respawning everywhere. There are some explosions, an overly dramatical soundtrack and weird looking goats. Oh yeah, it also has a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story to tell.
