Early Access Review
A review

This game is (as provided right now) exactly what I expected it to be. Short, but entertaining.
NOTE: As the developer states below, this application has been created during a competition, however I will review this seriously.
--------------------------------------------------
The Way of Life seems to be just a fun project, created by a few friends running on the Unity 3D engine. You can tell it is one of their first games, seeing as it has a few design flaws, overall scripting bugs and collider misplacements/oversizing. Play-testing would do the job, but obviously an Indie-studio can't do too much about that (I WOULD LOVE TO SIGN UP FOR PLAYTESTING THOUGH, WOULD ALSO LOVE TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE PROJECT FILES AND TRANSLATING).
Now after a few details, let's get into it:
--------------------------------------------------
Story:

Well, there is not too much to say since at the moment there are just three(or one) level.
You walk across a street, first as a buisnessman, later as an old man and a child. The "street" is always
represented from the characters point of view. I like the idea a lot, same level, different point of view, I mean
we all have different realisations of life, don't we? Potential.

---------------------------------------------------
Graphics:

Simple, would say it is using Unitys standard shaders (which is not a depriciation, rather a statement).
Still the support the game and are stlyzed to parts of the game(The old, buisnessman and the kid).
UV-Mapping(Texturing) however is sometimes done a little bit rough and objects clip into eachother at cerain points.

-----------------------------------------------------
Well, nothing else (besides the awesome music!!!)...

Yeah sure, I could now take a look at every tiny bit, but the entire game is about 5 minutes long so what are you expecting?

Conclusion:
Install, try, uninstall. This is what I did as well. I enjoyed it, but the game leaves me curious. Curious what's to come.
The idea is good and the developer is really trying, but I am so interested what the will add and how they will keep the player amazed. I recommend this game to everyone, who has nothing to do for the next few minutes, who is one a break or just wants to taste a bit of indie-art.

-----------------------------------------------------
To the developer:

I like your game. Really I do! It does suffer from a few bugs/possibly unintended behaviour though:
  • You are able to bunnyhop over the bridge on the child-level
  • The donut clips through the wall, maybe just make it a little bit smaller?
  • Some textures are messed up
  • Some scripts trigger to late, so that you are able to clip through cars and dragons.

Keep up the good work, I hope you will at least bring out another level, I follow this!
