They removed DMCA, now please fix the game so I can actually recommend this game fully. It's genuinely a fun time, but the optimization and fake A-Life leaves much to be desired.

This game is pretty good. A unique game mode that no game company has ever made before? And some of the best destruction I've seen in a game since Red Faction? Map design is also extremely well handled. And they keep pushing optimization updates especially when the game needs it. For a F2P title, this game's got a lot of love put in it that other triple A games have been lacking for a while.

Good game, really good game. Unfortunately, RE Engine sucks with open world due to how demanding the engine is when rendering wide-open spaces and models (look at Dragon's Dogma 2 as a good example). Which is why they optimized the game around frame generation. A lot of the negative reviews are people complaining about the optimization, which is fair. If you want to run the game at a solid 60fps at a native 1080p, you're gonna need a top of the line computer. Honestly reminds me of Crysis and how not many people were able to run it back in 2007. But all in all, 6th gen Monster Hunter hits a little diff...

Gameplay is pretty solid, but there's no reason to force Epic Games Store for "crossplay". The backlash is similar when Helldivers 2 was trying to force PSN accounts lol. However, I don't think they're gonna go back on it considering how engraved Epic's services seem to be in this game.

Some new things that spice up EDF's gameplay
-new slots for the infantry classes that allow you to bring a support weapon like grenades or laser designator
-melee weapons for wing diver (go kinda hard ngl)
-some previous early game upgrades give significantly more bonuses than EDF 4.1 or 5
-fencer gets more movement options in early game compared to previous installments
-air raider has a more active playstyle when using his new weapon type (don't wanna go too far into the spoilers)

For Mother Earth!

Edit: This has gone through like 3 revisions because I can't make up my mind. Now we're going for 4 because they released a blog post stating that they're gonna look at the Epic Games Store requirement because of the "community feedback". We did it again...

The devs genuinely have been cooking for a while now. This update adds cover to the most problematic areas on all heists. New animations from the previous updates are pretty slick. Cook Off is kinda worth it to do now. New progression system is miles faster than the challenge system at launch. Ngl, they should add prestige because it's pretty easy to get to 150 now and get a bunch of renown levels. Skill balancing is still a little weird but the new weapons they keep adding add a lot of variety and fun to the game. The core is definitely starting to feel way better to play because of the devs constant attention to the problems in the game. In my opinion, the armor system didn't really work because at launch there was little to no cover on certain heists. And it'd be very easy to get caught out of cover and lose all of your plates. But now with a bit more cover in more open heists. It's not as terrible. And Very Hard is still a fun and relaxing fallback if you're getting rolled in Overkill.
