i bought into the hype for this game, initially. do i regret it? no, not particularly. the game has a good opening, and goes downhill from there.

off the bat : the game looks very pretty. ridiculously so. it also handles fine. unfortunately though, the game mistakes tediousness for difficulty. i was given no reason to replay this game. some parts of it (especially the last area) are just a chore. there's also very little exploration - the game hands you an item to tell you where hidden collectibles are. okay? sure.

the movement is overall very good, and moving about usually feels decent, but that alone cannot carry the fact that the game is mostly unremarkable. i suppose it is worth playing, but it gets a good ole shoulder shrug for me.
