Aside from DooM 2016 this has to be may favourite game in 10 years.
Such a simple start. Mine ores then place them into a furnace. You then figure out how to do automate this which lets you build other parts. Fast foward and you've got so many little processes that are happening all which are used in other processes. Every idea/concept you figure out it gives you more options in how to produce more and more.
Basically there's no end

Wow this game is amazing! It almost feels like what alot of DooM wads are trying to create.
Everything works so that you have to be moving and killing with no time to wait around cover, stand still and you're dead.
For me it feels like its kept all of the parts of DooM that made it so awsome to play and mixed with only the best things out of modern gaming such as upgrading your guns.
I've already finished it on Ultra Violence and now I'm onto Nightmare where I've really had to step up my game. The music and action really gets my blood pumping.
Bit of shame that there's no steam workshop as the whole WAD thing is the main part thats made DooM still be played to this day.
I really hope that more FPS go towards this older fast paced action to recovering health that just slows everything to a snails pace on hard difficulties.

Just finished the game and wow, it was great! It definatly feels like an old shooter yet it also feels humane enough to set in ww2. Love the super Nazis and it was fun killing all of them. The second half of the game is certainly stronger then the 1st. Definatly give it a go if you want to carry a shotgun in both hands and blow everyone away.
