I honestly didn’t know much about Aztec mythology before this, but now I’m deep-diving into Xipe Totec lore. The game doesn’t spoon-feed anything, it makes you earn your understanding. Especially during the temple section I would love to take a closer look at the environment but there was a god chasing me 24/7. 10/10 atmosphere.

An interesting version of Potion craft, you caught me there

After a couple of hours in this demo, I’m sold. Grim Trials gives you that “die, learn, grow” loop that roguelites live and breathe on. The Blessings are surprisingly creative, letting me build a poison scythe one run and a crit-heavy crossbow next run. The variety feels good even with limited content. I liked the atmosphere in the Academy a lot these NPCs seem to have stories worth caring about. If the final game digs deeper into Avelin’s relationship with her living love, it might hit way harder than your average action game.

Playing this was basically me screaming “nope!” at my monitor, then tiptoeing back into the dark hallways. Athanasia absolutely nails the dread. You never feel safe, and the level design reinforces that, twisting in a way that makes you question what is real. Prehistoric predators were a genius spin. I want even more of them.

It's a pretty good game, there's potential, if the developer finishes the graphics and makes the gameplay even more diverse, it will be a hit

Good game, reminded me of Pacman and Bomberman. I'll go play them again sometime. And this game is fine too.
